Here's Ascher, rightful king of the Plegian throne, would-be king if his sister hadn't taken the throne for herself. He's actually not as upset as he could be about that. Despite being Plegian, he's under self-imposed exile because he'd rather leave and go under the radar than risk stirring the pot even more in Plegia. He might not be king and he had a habit of ditching his lessons, but at the end of the day Ascher is still royalty and has the interests of Plegia in mind.

A lot of people think he's Grimleal, thanks to Maeve declaring she was usurping because he's Grimleal and therefore a horribad person who had horribad things in store for Plegia. He's still really confused about that.

In general though, Ascher is a pretty free-spirited and independent person who comes and goes as he likes. He's trying to get the most out of his new freedom.

friends Ascher enjoys having and keeping company. He generally travels alone, but a buddy or two that he's already bumped into would be neat.

enemies Doesn't stay too long to make any, but he runs the risk of someone super gung-ho about being anti-Grimleal and recognizing him. That'd suck for Ascher.

lovers Someone somewhere out there?

other Maeve and Ascher have any number of younger siblings. I'm up for anything though literally anything.

Shen'lon If Shen'lon goes to find Ender, then Shen'lon will probably bump into Ascher too. He's getting a botany lesson from Jehiel.

Shen'lon I don't actually think he'd mind. He is considerably not as upset about the whole usurpation as he could be. Kind of lacks the whole hungry for vengeance part.

Uhhhh depending on where you've run to exile I think it'd be cool if Ascher met either Layle or Rima. Rima's half-Plegian but is generally oblivious and I could see her just befriending him and then finding about his past and just being like "well why don't you go back" and just.... Rima no we can talk about this.

And then Layle on the other hand wouldn't care much about being exiled and all that. He's with the West Khan now, but he's Valmese in origin, and he just... if it doesn't involve death, he's pretty laid-back about stuff.
