The Shepherds, formerly the Knights of Cydonia.
The Knights of Cydonia were founded by Dorian with the express purpose of defeating Grima and stopping his revival somehow, some way, and restoring peace to the land. But unfortunately, they didn't get very far before an emergency forced Dorian to stop down, leaving the Knights leaderless. Stepping up to fill the void is Nascha, a manakete recruited by the Knights who was unimpressed with their current state but believed very strongly in their ultimate goal. With the Knights going their separate ways, Nascha has rebuilt and reorganized the old group as the Shepherds, taking the name of the Exalt's companions from twenty years previous. Nascha intends to see the Knights' original purpose through by any means possible, even if she has to drag the rest of them most of the way.
Leader: Nascha. Despite taking people from all nations and walks of life, the Knights under Dorian were heavily centric to Ylisse. Nascha hopes to change that, turning the Shepherds into a truly independent group not held back by the politics of any nation. For the time being, she hasn't moved their base from Ylisse, but she claims no love for or loyalty to its leaders. Her own leadership is currently based on merit: she assigns higher ranking positions based on who's earned it, no matter how close or distant they are with Nascha. She also encourages the less experienced of the Shepherds to learn from those of higher rank, even asking for training if necessary. One other important note is that Nascha assumed the position with the intent of giving it back eventually, or to someone else who has a lot more charisma than her. Whether or not that actually happens, is another story entirely.
Head Tactician: Unclaimed. Nascha is well aware that while she's picked up a lot over the last millennium, she is no expert strategist. This person would be her go-to for any planning and strategic advice she needs. Obviously, she's only taking an experienced tactician for the head spot, so greenhorns who happen to have minor Grima blood need not apply. Competence is also valued. Nascha wants someone she can actually rely on here. After all, they may end up with the fate of the world in their hands.
First Lieutenant: Unclaimed. This would be Nascha's second-in-command, a Knight Commander sort of figure. Nascha would want a veteran of some sort, who has seen plenty of battle before and would be able to take charge during a battle if necessary. She also wants someone who can train the new recruits, so experience with that also helps. Being close to Nascha is not necessary, although she would prefer it if they at least got along.
Second Lieutenant: Unclaimed. Because one is never enough when you're potentially dealing with world-ending evil dragons. This spot would not necessarily be a third-in-command (that would probably be the Flightleader), so much as someone who could readily step up to the First Lieutenant's position and role if anything happened. The same skillset would be preferred.
Flightleader: Unclaimed. This person would be the leader of whatever airborne fighters the Shepherds get. Here, Nascha is looking for aerial combat experience and prowess, but also scouting and recruiting ability. The Shepherds' airborne units would likely be in charge of both, given their mobility. Does not have to be a pegasus rider (hence why I changed it to 'Flightleader' instead of 'Pegasus Squadron Commander'), although Nascha would have a bit of personal irritation with a wyvern rider.
Ambassadors: Especially with how Nascha is trying to move the Shepherds towards not being tied to any nation, they're going to need ambassadors for all of them. These will be the main envoys to every major ruled area. Because their primary focus is diplomacy, experience in battle is not necessary. However, they need to be respectable (and preferably respected) and able to talk with people in power. In addition, they need to either be from the are they're corresponding with, or know it very well. (For an example of this, back when Dorian was in charge I briefly considered putting forth Nascha as an ambassador to Plegia. While she wasn't strictly from there, being born in what is now East Ferox, she spent a significant portion of her life there and knows it very well.)
Ylisse: Unclaimed

Valm:Unfilled - This is here primarily as a placeholder for if and when the plot gets to that point.
Recruiters: While the Flightleader will most likely be in charge of recruiting, there will be others who make it their primary job for the Shepherds as well. There can be any number of these. They would also be in charge of gathering and securing supplies so that the Shepherds can stay funded and equipped. The primary skill here will be the ability to convince people that the Shepherds are actually worth their words, and that their leader is not a dangerous evil dragon.

etc
Healers: Any unit that sees or will see major combat will need healers. Preferably more than one. Their job will be to heal the other Shepherds during and after major engagements, and to save as many lives as possible. There will also be a Head Healer spot who will be in charge of the other healers, and who will need to keep Nascha apprised on the current condition of the troops and possibly convince her that running off into another engagement so soon is a Bad Idea. Devotion to Naga is not necessary.
Head Healer: Unclaimed

Intelligence: So, Nascha has realized that she and the Shepherds need a lot more information than they have, so she's added a few more roles to make up for that lack. There's two main roles here: the Loremaster, a scholarly role primarily devoted to researching Grima and his servants and disseminating what knowledge comes from that; and Spies, naturally tasked with collecting information from enemies and potential enemies when possible.
Loremaster: Eirlys
Spies: Unclaimed Unclaimed etc
Shipmaster: Currently, a holdover from how Dorian ran things, and Nascha isn't entirely sure what to do with it. This position will probably be scrapped until such time as ships are actually present and needed, unless Maeve still intends to give the Shepherds one.
Unclaimed and possiblyUnfilled
Everyone's good at something, even if they don't fall into one of the major roles. This will keep a running list of all player character Shepherds, as well as their primary role for the Shepherds (for the most part this will mean combat role, such as ground units, cavalry, magic, air force, etc, athough if anyone has any other ideas feel free to run them by me).
If your character was a part of the Knights and plans to return with the Shepherds, or otherwise wishes to join the Shepherds, please post here. I do not have a master list at present.
