There was much MUCH to do upon this lovely continent! Such bloody fun born of grudges both old and new! Why, the people of Ylisse seemed so very ready to froth at the mouth from all this delightful chaos. But ah how quickly the fun and joy brought a toll upon one's supplies. Her lovely Flowers needed time to gather more before they were off on another fun mission for that delightful Steward of Ylisse. Dressed in regular clothing rather than the false uniforms of Plegia or the Grimleal, the exotic mercenary commander strode about the town. Yet for her normal, it was still odd for Ylisse as the woman looked like she wore a heavily armored tunic and skirt, but no leg plates and a pair of greaves on her feet. A wide shoulder guard adorned her left arm and eight 'tails' drifted down from her skirt behind her. The dark haired woman could care less about the whisperings of people as she passed, focusing on finding someone who could properly supply her men. Eventually she found her way to the marketplace and drifted from store to store, comparing prices and how much food and water she could get, as well as checking in with a local blacksmith about copious amounts of arrows and how long it might take to make them. All in all, they kept saying the same thing about needing time to get her what she needed. With a sigh, the bored mercenary drifted over towards a tavern, starting to feel like getting something to drink. --- Tags: Isolde Tsan'lo

"For the fifth damn time, I am NOT someone who would work like that and even if I was, not for a damn bag of grease like you" Smack. Tsun'lo let out a rather loud sigh as she kicked the fat old man down the stairs, shaking her head as there was a little crowd gathering around the man. He'd live. Had enough lard on him to survive even if it would have been a battering ram striking against his chest and pushing him down the damn stairs. She wiped her nose once as she then spat down at the wobbly little fat man. She then turned her eyes forwards as she leaned against the little wooden fence of sorts that were there to keep people falling down the little alcove carved up at the second floor of the tavern. She had gone there originally to have some privacy while drinking, yet the greaseball had followed her up and had not left her alone after asking him to for around twenty minutes. With each stern no and a insult his offers just got bigger and bigger, ending up with a little mansion and his hand in marriage. She shivered at the thought. There was... Someone very strange looking woman entering the tavern. She tilted her head a bit as she looked down, not really sure of what to make of the newcomer. Was she dressed in a very ridiculous clothing or... Was that Valmese styled clothing? She was never sure, she did not know the fashions that currently stirred the continent she had originated from. The Pegapony Princess of Love Truth and Justice!
Ah, what a lovely town and it was such a nice evening out too. And yet, the townspeople were always happy to see her in which she gave a friendly wave back. She had heard from some of the townspeople that a strange woman had passed by here, likely a foreigner from another country. While she had met a foreigner before, it would be nice to meet another one...if they didn't have any reason to be hostile to her yet. And a tavern had come into view and she was in contemplation whether to enter. Most likely, there'll be drunk men and one of them could easily try to sexually harass her. It would prove to be rather difficult without Gairovald around, but she was sure that someone could protect her in his steed. Gingerly opening the front door, she could make out some of the men that were rowdy to the point that they made a lot of noise. And a familiar face. The foreign young woman she met at the library was there too. And a strange woman was drinking some alcoholic drink.
And already, one of the rowdy men spotted her. Welp, this wasn't going to be good.

"Another! Come on, another!" The raven haired woman laughed as the clink of coin fell upon the bar while the man beside her groaned. "Aw come on, you challenged me! Or are you quitting?" The foreign woman grinned while her opponent grimaced. What followed before he could answer was a great crashing sound, a look of surprise crossing the man's face while she simply turned to look at what the commotion was. It looked like a large blob of a man had taken a spill down the stairs and judging by the growing crowd and where they were staring, it was the work of the woman at the top of the stairs. Xin'chi briefly hummed in thought, the girl looking like someone who was also quite far from Chon'sin. She didn't say much, just staring down at the crowd of rowdy patrons who'd gathered round, some of them laughing while utters muttered beneath their breath and one was starting to split away with a rather lurid grin on his face. Curious of what the break away was doing, she looked idly towards the door of the bar, a young blonde standing there and looking quite uneasy. It was actually kind of cute in a way. The man from the crowd crossed over to her, starting to spout some cheesy pick up line and ushering her over to the bar for a drink. For her part, the new arrival seemed to be turning him down, but the drunken fellow didn't seem to be taking the hint. With a pleading look around, the girl struck a chord on the good side of Xin'chi. The mercenary gave a sigh before setting her mug down upon the bar and standing up. She strode over to the man and the younger girl, drawing a few glances herself as she did so. "'Ey, what do you wa-" The crack of an iron gauntlet smashing into his face shut the rowdy patron up right quick, a loud thud following before dead silence took over. "Hey barkeep, keep the perverts out."And uproarious laughter took over the silence in short order. The raven haired Xin'chi looked at the blonde girl, giving her a friendly smile. Trinity was quietly enjoying her drink in the corner of the tavern - she had come to this distant town in Talys in search of a job that would allow her to smuggle herself and Sonya out of harm's way. Sadly it was for the most part a futile effort, Trinity soon found herself increasingly worried that she may have to offer herself to the Grimleal. Her silent musings were interrupted by the sounds of... fighting and brawling. Trinity looked to the stairs and saw that a rather large man had fallen down the stairs and it appeared that he was kicked down them. And on top of that, a strange woman in distinctly foreign garb arrived in the tavern most likely to get her own drink, but... Well, Trinity didn't care much for the scenes that unfolded. As Trinity silently watched the scene from afar, her eyes largened as she saw a familiar figure walk into the tavern. What's an innocent looking girl like Isolde doing in a seedy place like this? Trinity found herself, actually vaguely concerned for once, but it was more the fact that such a kid was here and vulnerable to the sleazy ministrations of man... But as someone began to approach Isolde, who looked like she really wanted help, the foreigner in strange clothing stood in and literally socked him in the face with her iron gauntlet-covered hand.
Trinity smiled and resisted the temptation to laugh like a maniac. As the stranger asked Isolde if she was alright, Trinity stretched and stood up, approaching the two. "Hey, good stranger. You've got a nice striking arm there. Had you not socked his face off I'd have done it myself!" Trinity said, smiling almost wickedly, but she did mean it well. She turned to face Isolde. "Isolde, you sure you should be in a seedy place like this? You're lucky enough you've got this fine lady who saved you and myself to jump in if she wasn't there, but..."

She tilted her head a bit as an familiar face entered the bar. That girl from the library with that pervert lordling. Eh, she did not hold her interest for very long. Her eyes returned to looking at the Valmese woman who had just smacked the ever living hell out of a man trying to perv up on Isolde. Hah, she seemed to be her type. Or at the very least she did not seem too idiotic or too soft. Maybe she should talk to her. Or maybe later on, but for now... She would just watch. Watch and learn. She tilted her head a bit at Trinity as she too begun to socialize with the other two. Hm, it seems like it was a small world after all. She snickered to her own thought for a moment, sipping her drink before looking to the flat blob of lard that she had knocked down. He was still there with a few men, seemingly his friends or hired thugs, trying to lift him up and failing very miserably. It was something entertaining to watch, so she focused her eyes on the sight. "Heh. Should teach him to go on a diet." Xin'chi Isolde Trinity

The Pegapony Princess of Love Truth and Justice!
Someone had rescued her from the drunk man and it was the foreign lady. She spoke to the foreign lady first. "Yes, I'm okay. Thank you…" And the foreign young woman ignored the scene as it was not her problem, usually. Had this lady not saved her, the drunk man would've continued with his rather seedy advances. She did hear Trinity come through the door and talk with the foreign lady, saying that she would've kicked his butt before that happened. It was such a relief to have two people save her from drunken men, though the foreign woman did give her a friendly smile. "And well, I was just curious about this place, Trinity." The tavern was certainly not for an innocent girl like her, but something had definitely drawn her to this place, almost as if there was some sort of curiosity. Maybe this tavern wasn't meant for a girl like her anyway, what with all those drunk and rowdy men flirting with woman all over the place.

"Yes, I'm okay. Thank you…""Great!" Xin'chi responded cheerily before another voice entered the scene, this time belonging to yet another cute blonde. But alas, she was not as cute as the one that was already here. Judging by their reactions to each other though, it would seem they knew each other. Isolde and Trinity, hm? "She is right, you know. You better be careful about where you go." The foreign woman chided a bit before chuckling. "Well, I've caught both your names now, but I haven't introduced myself yet, have I? I am Xin'chi. A pleasure to meet you both."--- Tags: Isolde, Tsan'lo, Trinity

Trinity tilted her head as Isolde thanked the woman and said she was alright. Then she immediately went on to say that she was just curious about this place. She really was innocent... Why would you be curious about a tavern? Well, unless you had just arrived in town and were a good drinker. Isolde, though, seemed to still be young regarding the world around her. Was she sheltered that bad, or just protected too much by her parents? Trinity looked towards the foreign woman, who seemed to agree with Trinity and soon introduced herself as Xin'chi. That was distinctly a name that sounded like it would come from Chon'sin, which suddenly made sense given the lady's attire. It definitely had... some sort of foreign twist to it. "Well, pleasure to meet you too lady Xin'chi," Trinity simply said, smiling softly but genuinely. She looked to the side and caught a glimpse of the young lady who had kicked the nasty sod down the stairs, but made no comment or thought about it.
She quickly turned her gaze back to Isolde and Xin'chi. "So, miss, what brings you here to Ylisse? Are you on a journey to train yourself or something?" Trinity asked the dark-haired lady curiously but politely, trying hard not to sound too dismissive or rude about it. After all, Trinity herself wasn't from Ylisse either and came here to look for better thrills. She didn't have a particularly strong reasoning for her being here either. She couldn't judge. Perhaps Isolde herself knew there would be something fascinating here, which drew her to the tavern. That made a bit more sense. The girl must have had a sense of adventure at least, despite her seemingly timid and childlike demeanor which made her a target of moves from such bad men like the one Xin'chi had just punched out.

This sounded more interesting with each passing moment. Oh, sure, Isolde and Trinity did not seem that interesting at all, but this Xin'chi. She was obviously of Valmese descent, and her outfit indicated something of a exotic background. She could be a master swordsman, maybe even a general of some military sect planning to come invade! Her heart pumped heavily for a moment before she then shook her head. No, that would just be a wild fantasy for now. Nothing could have united Valm so quickly and be so quick to send a scout to Ylisse. Except if it was Walhart, but Walhart was dead. Yet the woman was still interesting. She smelled of trouble, and Tsan'lo for once could respect someone who clearly smelled of trouble. Perhaps it was due to their similar roots or just the fact that she looked interesting, but she wanted to know more. More, maybe even of the person's fighting style and why she was here. So she simply stood still, tilting her head a bit as she watched what the others would be doing while keeping her ears open to what they would be saying. She even grew a little curved smirk. Heheh. "It's nice to meet you, Xin'chi. And I'll be careful next time, don't worry." Huh, the woman had a foreign name, just like the other young lady that she met previously. Speaking of which, it seemed that the other foreign young lady didn't have any sort of interest towards her or Trinity, but the young lady did hold an interest towards the woman. Quite possibly, they might be from the same foreign country since they hadn't seen each other before. The guys in the tavern seemed to be scared of the woman since she had punched a drunken man in the face, something that her bodyguard would've done if he had encountered those seedy men.
Still, it wasn't like her to visit a tavern or perhaps, she had gotten curious of what goes on in there and decided to have a look inside. At least now, those men wouldn't be able to touch her with Xin'chi and Trinity around. Those two women were like her older sisters and she felt like she was the youngest and the most vulnerable to be protected.

" So, miss, what brings you here to Ylisse? Are you on a journey to train yourself or something?" "Ah, nothing so fancy or philosophical, I'm afraid." Granted, her line of work did entail some training and natural growth of proficiency. "I am a mercenary, as it were. I came from the west seeking work. This continent is ready to explode and it provides one such as I with quite a living." The raven haired woman continued to grin as she explained herself before finishing. "Ah, let's take a seat though. It's a bit awkward just standing around in the doorway, yes?" She looked back briefly at the site of her former drinking competition, the patron sitting there raising an open palm in a placatory gesture before shaking his head. He placed a small pouch of gold upon the counter where she sat before. "Excuse me for a moment." Xin'chi stepped away, retrieving the bag before walking towards the two once more, or after them if they had moved to a table. --- Tags: Isolde Trinity Tsan'lo

Trinity nodded as Xin'chi explained that she was a mercenary and that she was here in search of work. Looks like she's hankering for some of that cake as well, trying to take advantage of the chaos to get some more dosh. Trinity couldn't argue with that kind of logic. She suddenly recalled what that priest man had told her so long ago. She smirked upon remembering it. As Xin'chi said that they should take a seat, Trinity nodded and led Isolde and Xin'chi to the table in the corner she herself was seated at only moments ago. While a group of bar patrons had wanted to take it for themselves, the moment they saw Trinity approaching with (hopefully) Isolde and Xin'chi behind her, the patrons shuffled away, looking terrified both at Trinity (for her reputation, most likely) and Xin'chi (for the fact she literally just knocked out a pervert with a metal-fisted punch). Once Trinity had the other two ladies sit down, she smiled. " I think this should do," she said. " Time to get comfortable." she said, smiling again and looking about to make sure there wouldn't be further distractions. The girl at the stairs seemed to be listening in on them, but Trinity honestly didn't care. She was more interested in the money that Xin'chi collected from... some guy at the counter. Drinking contest, huh? Seemed like it. Guess she could drink hard, too. Interesting. *** tags; Isolde Xin'chi Tsan'lo

She wiped her nose slightly as the kept staring at them from upstairs. It was sad that both of the ones she had no interest in her had seemingly at the very least noticed her, yet the actually interesting one had not even paid any attention to her. It was depressing to think about, and she was not going to go down there on her own. She'd mess it up by being overly nice or something. Better let the prey get you to them, let them trust you... And then pounce. She was just not sure on what she was trying to pounce at. Maybe she wanted this woman to take her in as a trainee? She seemed to be someone who could wield a few weapons without any trouble. And maybe, just maybe, she would be able to beat Tsan'lo in a spar. If she could do that, she would have her respect for a long while. She stroked her chin for a moment as the fat man proceeded to climb back up, huffing and puffing as he then raised his left hand. "Peace... Huff'npuff... I... I raise the offer to my hand, a whole manor AND fifty serva---" He was kicked down again. Isolde Trinity Xin'chi

The Pegapony Princess of Love Truth and Justice!
The bar patrons seemed to be terrified of the two ladies which made her feel a lot safer with them. Not to mention that Trinity led her to where she was sitting and the young girl sat down. The foreign young lady at the stairs seemed to be listening in, but she paid no mind. It was safe to say that the two older ladies seemed to be hitting it off with each other. From the looks of it, Xin'chi did seem to look like a mercenary hired to kill people on the job and she looked like she loved violence from the way she punched the drunk man earlier.
She noticed that the tavern seemed to be less rowdy now that the men were shaking as if they were terrified of being beaten for flirting with a girl younger than them. Still, her child-like innocence was not something that a man in a drunken stupor would find disgusting, prompting the young lady to be vulnerable to the seediness of men.
