• Isolde was born in a wealthy family where she had a younger sister and an older brother. She was also next in line to be a duchess which meant that she was practically predestined to inherit the family's fortune. Her mother and father worked together to ensure that the family was taken care of as well as the older brother taking care of his younger siblings. Their paternal grandfather was also the patriarch of the family, though he was strict in teaching some of his grandchildren how to act proper during important meetings.
• At the tender age of eight, she was taught how to be a proper lady as to not embarrass the family name, though her sheltered demeanor often kept her from having any conversations with other kids her age. She loved to read and would often sit alone while she read a novel much to her delight. She was quite fascinated by the tales of knights rescuing fair maidens and she wanted to someday be a warrior who could defend villages from evil bandits.
• And of course, she started to learn how to ride a Pegasus when she was about sixteen. Most people had not known that the young woman aspiring to be the next duchess was going to be a warrior during the days of war, but she had prepared for it. While her parents did agree with their daughter's wishes, her grandfather didn't agree with it and suggested that she should stay and be taught how to be a lady. The rebellious teen in her didn't want to be taught anymore than necessary and decided to train elsewhere.
• And at the midst of training, she wanted to use a lance as a form of combat while riding her steed anywhere where there's bandits and evildoers about. She was still learning, but nonetheless had carved herself a wooden spear in order to practice fighting. Her older brother had taught her how to strike an enemy with it and also to find an enemy's weak point while using the spear. When that was said and done, she felt that she was somewhat ready to take on foes that she might encounter.
• Despite being on the battlefield most of the time, she does take time to take care of herself and her younger sister. After all, beauty is never tarnished except for fighting in the mud, but that's besides the point. She doesn't like anything to be dirty as she does tolerate cleanliness which also makes her a neat freak of sorts. She would often groom herself before she went off to train and had good hygiene as a result.
• Before all this, she had attended a private academy as requested by her grandfather. The academy was a school for young girls and it taught them how to be proper. Being the future duchess of her family, she managed to do somewhat well on her schoolwork, but often daydreamed which had gotten her in trouble for not paying attention. Even so, she managed to get a good grade in between and also made a few friends.
