Staring into the Abyss [reserved, sonya]

[Trinity]

Trinity sighed happily, she was feeling herself get a little too comfortable, but regardless, she was finding it increasingly difficult to raise an arm against Sonya if it ever came to that conclusion. Mentioning the various things they could be doing right now, even mentioning going straight to the 'fun' part (accompanied with a fatally attractive wink), made Trinity think through things momentarily. Indeed, Sonya had been diplomatic thus far, but Trinity was now suddenly being a little bit suspicious again - Sonya was being too nice, and Trinity had already lowered her guard and made herself totally vulnerable. In a normal situation, Trinity would have already had to make an escape. But it was almost as if Trinity had a feeling that Sonya was trying to make this day memorable and happy for her.

She didn't want to mention or entertain that possibility, but Trinity hoped this day would not be her last. "Walking all the way here has had me positively pandering for a seat, so perhaps we could take some time to sit and relax... Preferably in each other's arms~?" Trinity grinned, responding calmly and happily despite her sudden misgivings about this far too positive encounter.

[Sonya]

Ahh, that happy sigh. That was the kind of thing Sonya wanted to hear. She did wonder, just for a second, if she was going a little too far with this, or laying it on too thick. No, it didn't matter. No matter what came of this, she wanted Trinity to be happy. And if Trinity did survive past today, it would be something to remember Sonya by for a long time. It was something Sonya wanted to remember too. She got intimate with people all the time, but it was rare that she met people she could relate to and open up to like this. Trinity was someone special. And the more Sonya thought about that, the harder the thought of killing her after today got to accept.

Then, Trinity mentioned taking a seat and relaxing. "I can agree to that," Sonya said, gently pulling Trinity over to a seat and settling herself down in it. She didn't pull Trinity down with her, but instead encouraged her to sit with her and make herself comfortable. Once Trinity did that, Sonya would slide her arms around her and pull her in close.

Trinity continued to smile as Sonya said she could agree to that, and Trinity felt herself gently being pulled to one of the seats. Though whe Sonya sat down, it almost looked like an invitation. Without hesitation, Trinity accepted, making herself comfortable and sitting right next to Sonya, leaning her head gently on Sonya's shoulder and letting the other woman slide her arms around her as Trinity gently held on to one of Sonya's arms. "Mmm. You... you feel very warm. It's nice to huddle with you like this, Sonya. I feel like I could forget about everything and just... Enjoy these moments with you." Trinity heaved in a relaxed manner. Indeed, while those lingering thoughts still remained in the back of her mind they were but a mere trifle in the face of this sudden display of affection.

Truth to be told, Trinity hadn't experienced something like this in literally decades, ever since she was thrown out of her household. It was an unfamiliar feeling, but a pleasant one nonetheless and Trinity desired to explore this thrill further, despite any looming threat.

[Sonya]

"Mmm..." Sonya held Trinity tightly to her, taking in the other woman's warmth and gentle touch. She raised one hand up to run it through Trinity's beautiful hair, smiling and giggling at Trinity's words. "Mmm, thank you. You're very warm too. You feel so nice in my arms." Indeed, it felt almost like Trinity was meant to be there. Sonya had held plenty of people in her arms, and most of the time it was a pleasant experience. But not since Ama or Aria had it felt so...natural. Was this a sign of where things were going? She couldn't say just yet. They had only just met, after all, even if they connected well. And before Sonya could even consider anything in the long term, Trinity would have to not be a target.

But, Sonya wasn't going to think about that anymore. Like Trinity said, she too wanted to just forget everything and enjoy the moment. Everything else could come later.

[Trinity]

Trinity made a soft purr as she felt one of Sonya's hands run through her hair, as the latter giggled and responded positively to Trinity's remark. The beautiful 'killer' who held her in her arms didn't seem much like a killer anymore; though Trinity still tried to keep herself in a realistic frame of mind, as much as she wanted to keep herself in denial, she would hate to have to hold a grudge against a beautiful lady like Sonya if the other lady even thought about offing her. Regardless, Trinity still tried to savor these intimate moments, shuffling her body even closer to Sonya, now gently stroking the other woman's legs. "Your body is perfect; your temperament is... otherwordly; unlike any other assailant I 'ave ever seen before, it almost feels like... the witch has become bewitched, hasn't it?" Trinity giggled, nuzzling Sonya further as she sighed happily and with contentment.

Ironically, the Crimson Witch had fallen under a spell not of her own weaving. But she didn't really care anymore. Not with how things were turning out right now.

[Sonya]

Sonya smiled at Trinity's purring, gently squeezing her in her arms. Trinity, who had seemed to come on so strong and was so obviously a fellow killer now seemed so gentle, so comfortable in Sonya's arms. So content just to be loved... Sonya blushed faintly at her words, pleasantly surprised at just how much of an effect she'd had on the 'witch'. "Mhmhm...I'm flattered, love. You're amazingly beautiful yourself. I just want to hold you here forever." It was hard to think of either one of them as assailants, anymore. If she really had bewitched Trinity, then it felt like that was her purpose all along. To find bewitching company and put them under a spell of her own, then enjoy what time they could find together. Wouldn't that be a nice life? No more murder, or pillaging, or running from people worse than her. Just living to be with people, and to find someone to share wonderful moments with. Maybe this was the real way to fulfill her promise.

After a few minutes of holding Trinity and stroking her hair, Sonya turned her head to give the other woman a gentle kiss on her cheek.

[Trinity]

Trinity could feel something really strangel welling up inside her as she remained ensconced comfortably in Sonya's arms. A sort of warm,tingly sensation overcame her, and it made her want to do more with Sonya, the lady wup had just been tasked to ake her life. And yet, Trnity loved how fearlessly and confidently Sonya reacted to Trinity's approach. She was a strong woman, one who knew when to bare her fangs and when she wanted to enjoy herself peacefully (not that Trinity would know the real meaning of peace). Trinity loved that most about Sonya , even if that enjoyment led to one's death.

When Trinity felt Sonya's lips on her cheeek, the witch felt her cheeks go red for the first time in her life. She had blushed softly, and in response Trinity gave Sonya a shy and soft kiss back on the cheek. Truth to be told, Trinity had never thought much about settling down with someone but perhaps if it was with someone like Sonya then it would not be so bad after all.

"Love... is this what people mean... When they say... 'Love at first sight,' dear? I can't take my eyes off you."

[Sonya]

"Mmm..." Sonya felt very light inside as Trinity blushed and kissed her back. It was almost like a leaping situation, despite still being seated. It was a warm sensation too, something she hadn't felt in a long time. No, rather than that, while it was familiar, it was also something new to her. She wanted to experience more of it, all over again. It was strange. Trinity had no doubt come looking for her to kill her too, and yet here she was, having walked right into hr trap so willingly. And now that she was there, Sonya didn't know what to do. She knew what she had to do, but rather than that, she was starting to want to hold on to her.

Trinity's next words...they were a good description for it. Sonya had known love before. Actual love. And it was very similar to this. "It might be," Sonya answered. "I think...I think I feel the same way." She cupped Trinity's cheek as she spoke, then slid that hand behind Trinity's head and brought her in for a kiss.

[Trinity]

The way which Sonya sounded in response to Trinity's kiss made the latter smile warmly, it was a genuine one, totally unlike the devilish and megalomanic ones she was used to making towards her inevitable victims or towards those she held enmity towards. Indeed; the pair of them had initially come looking to kill one another, but through some romantic sorcery, they had come to see something in each other that... Stopped them from continuing the deed; or at least Trinity felt herself being stopped. She didn't want to lay a brutal hand on this beauty before her. She couldn't speak for Sonya, of course, but from the way Sonya continued, saying how she felt the same way... Things could get fairly complicated from here.

Before Trinity could even properly articulate her thoughts, she felt her head brought closer to Sonya's, as her cheek was cupped, and Trinity felt their lips pressing together this time for a real kiss. Trinity's eyes were wide open at first, but eventually she shut them as she became to be enveloped in a feeling of warmth that she had never experienced before; one that she wanted to experience more of. Trinity soon wrapped her arms around Sonya, wanting to be held in her arms as well. It was strange; Trinity's thought processes. She knew she was initially tasked to put down Sonya, but the more she spent time with her...

The more Trinity instead wanted to spend time with her, perhaps do more things WITH her, instead of doing things against her. She wondered if Sonya felt the same way. But it was complicated. Trinity was indeed crazy, she had completely thrown away reason now, only going by her instincts and impulses.

[Sonya]

"Mmmmm..." Sonya slid her arms back around Trinity and held her tight as she kissed her, relishing in the warmth of the action. She wanted Trinity to experience as much of it as she could too. It was clear from Trinity's actions that she was enjoying it, which encouraged Sonya to go in for a deeper, more passionate kiss. She held it for as long as she could, before finally breaking away to take a breath.

"Ahh, that feels so nice," Sonya said, still holding Trinity tightly. "I've missed this so much." So many kisses before had been passionate, yes, but driven by lust with little meaning to them. Something like this, that had such a sensation of warmth behind it, that was definitely the best kind. It felt like it had been forever since she was able to share a kiss like that.  And even if it wasn't really forever, even the few years that it was felt entirely too long.

[Trinity]

Trinity felt the warmth of Sonya as they kissed, it was such a strange but wonderful sensation, it was certainly something she desired more of, and she could tell that Sonya wanted to share in it too, as the other lady began to go deeper and more passionately. For as long as they tried to maintain it, of course, they needed to catch their breath, and Sonya moved away. She still held Trinity tightly in her arms, something the blonde lady enjoyed immensely, she hearkened back to the sights in her youth when she saw young couples enjoying wonderful times together - couples she had to break up, when a jealous suitor wanted one of them dead. And of course, Trinity obliged, but it felt oddly pleasant to be the one treated so affectionately.

Eventually, Sonya said that she missed this warm feeling, something that prompted a giggle from Trinity. "Oh, dear... You beautiful rogue. You must have stolen the hearts of many... And now you've stolen mine," Trinity said, sighing happily and with contentment, as she gave the dark-haired woman a soft nuzzle. "I'd have never thought I would have fallen for someone in my line of work, but... I can't say I'm complaining. You are just... heavenly." Trinity said, smiling softly but sincerely.

[Sonya]

Sonya giggled as well, squeezing Trinity gently again. "Ahh, you flatter me," Sonya said. Her words were true, of course. Sonya had stolen many a heart in her line of work, and she didn't always have the decency to give them back before parting ways or stealing their life as well. But this one, she wanted to take good care with. Especially with how Trinity had put it. "Mmm," she said, returning to stroking Trinity's hair as she nuzzled her. Yes, this was exactly what she wanted. Exactly what she missed. She couldn't bear to let it go.

"Mm, I could stay like this forever," she said after awhile. It was already starting to feel like it could be, at this rate. One moment, drawn out into eternity...or perhaps more time had passed than she thought. Either way, it didn't feel like long enough. "But...I'm sure there's more you want to do...isn't there?"

[Trinity]

Trinity smiled and started to give Sonya soft kisses on her cheek and neck as the latter mentioned that Trinity was 'flattering her.' Though Trinity could not tell if her suspicions were confirmed, the reaction was enough to give Trinity the idea that perhaps they were confirmed after all. It was a gut reaction anyway. The blonde enjoyed Sonya's touch on her hair, causing her to nuzzle the hand stroking her hair as if she were a little cat, and she found herself wanting more after all. Especially when Sonya said she could stay like this forever, and even going so far as to ask Trinity if there was more she wanted to do.

"Um... Sonya. I... Could you show me what it's like... to love... and be loved?" Trinity said softly, in whispers, as her head was now inches away from Sonya's. "I... have had... ideas about it, but... I want to experience it properly... From someone as wonderful and as beautiful as yourself." Trinity continued, as she clung to the dark-haired woman more tightly this time, enjoying the warmth of being held, enjoying all of this. Indeed, she wanted more, it wasn't even a lust, it was more of a desire to experience something new and romantic.

After all, she had never really thought about it.

[Sonya]

"Mm-hm," Sonya said, still stroking Trinity's hair. As the other woman asked her question, Sonya met her eyes, an easy task now that their heads were only inches away. To love, and to be loved. That was something she could easily show, especially with someone like Trinity. Sonya was genuinely wondering if she had started to feel that way about her. She wanted more as well. She wanted to do everything she could with Trinity in what time they had. However short or long it was, Sonya wanted it to feel like it really was forever. Even if it had to end eventually, she wanted it to feel like it never would.

She raised a hand to Trinity's cheek, cupping it, then pulling her in for another kiss. "I'll show you everything you could ever dream of," she said in a soft whisper. "I want to experience it again too. It's been too long..."

[Trinity]

Sonya gave her affirmation in one sound, and Trinity could still feel the soft touch stroking and playing with her hair. Their eyes met now, faces only inches apart. Trinity found herself in some sort of dream, a reverie, that came about being in such a romantic situation all of a sudden - like something out of a story book. Still looking with a deep, intense, longing gaze, Trinity gave a feeble but sincere smile, the blush on her cheeks more than enough to show how she felt. She wanted this to last, regardless of how it would end, but she sincerely hoped she wouldn't have to exchange her life for this moments, even if it seemed totally worth it. Soon, Sonya brought Trinity in for another kiss, and then spoke in whispers.

In response, Trinity pressed herself against Sonya, deliberately placing herself lower than her. "Please... please show me your magic." Trinity said softly, also in a whisper, her hands softly placed over where Sonya's heart would be...
