Trinity looked perplexed as by the time she had finished her story Isolde simply reacted a little too non-plussed for someone who should have had a more vibrant reaction, but perhaps Isolde was just unawares of these things and was just a little confused. But she was proven wrong when Isolde mentioned that Trinity probably had a hard life when she was in Plegia, and that she respected her decision to follow her own ideals and way of life. That was a sudden nugget from the younger girl that impressed Trinity as a smile curled from her lips. "Yeah, it's probably not too difficult to see why that is," she said, laughing softly. "But that's basically the most important thing you need to know about me. I can be dangerous, so please try not to be too alarmed at the things I do. And who knows what will happen if your parents find out about me." Trinity giggled.
"Speaking of your parents, do you mind introducing yourself to me a bit better, miss Isolde? I'm quite curious about your upbringing. I don't know too much about the lifestyle of the higher class, despite having been asked to murder a lot of them."

The reaction of her parents might be a bit...unsettling considering that she befriended a potentially dangerous Plegian, but she hadn't had the slightest care anyway. Trinity asked her to tell more about herself which she obliged. "Well, I have an older brother and a little sister. My family is born of nobility with my father and mother being the Duke and Duchess respectively. My paternal grandfather is the head of the duchy since he's the Grand Duke. Although, my father's side of the family has been known to have some strict traditions come along." Quite possibly, her mother's side of the family might not be as strict, but the fact remained that her family had a strict upbringing. She could remember the stories that her father had told her about his father berating him for not actively pursuing his duty as a duke.
Well, a duke was supposed to reign over a duchy should the grand duke die, but her grandfather was still standing and she was soon to become a duchess herself. Even so, she'd rather become a good ruler instead of one who imposes laws that the people of her duchy didn't like so much.

Trinity sat there listening intently to Isolde as she shared some background information on herself. She appeared to be the second child in a family with three children, which made Trinity deathly curious about how the little sister looked if Isolde already looked this sickeningly cute. It looked to be that Isolde was comfortably in the class of nobility, the parents being the Duke and Duchess of some large estate or land. One would guess the duchy, obviously. Trinity nodded and looked about for a moment before looking at Isolde a bit more carefully this time. "You should be careful, hopefully your parents don't make many enemies. You wouldn't want anything happening to them, after all, so you better take care of yourself and your family too," Trinity said in a whisper. "You seem nice enough, so I wouldn't want anything bad to happen to you. And trust me, that's a pretty big compliment. I'm not usually so forward in such matters." Trinity whispered again, though her voice was somehow soft and almost kind.
Trinity put some distance between the two of them again after she said her piece in response to Isolde's brief introduction. "Regardless, it's been a pleasure to talk to you. Anything you'd like to talk more on about?" Trinity finally said, smiling and placing her hands on each side of her cheek as if looking whimsically about.

Trinity seemed to be concerned about the fact that the young girl's family could make some enemies if she was not careful and possibly, those enemies might be out to get her. Still, the lady advised her that she should take care of her family well and that Trinity seemed to compliment that she thought the young girl to be the nicest. Though, there might be more subjects to talk about once introductions are in order, namely the issues surrounding her homeland and Plegia's problems as well. She was curious to know what kind of problems did Plegia face and the issues that the people were facing.
"Actually, I am curious about what kind of issues Plegia is facing and I also heard that they have a royal family of some sort, I believe." She had hoped that Trinity might shed a bit of light on the current issues that Plegia was facing and it might be similar to what Ylisse was facing right now.

Trinity tilted her head once Isolde asked about the current state of affairs in Plegia. Honestly, Trinity didn't have first-hand knowledge of the situation because she had already left years ago, but she did remember some important things she felt that Isolde could know. "There's a civil war going on in Plegia right now, or something. That's what they call it, but in reality, it's more like some sort of... MAD situation, I guess? There's a battle between the royal family of Plegia and the Grimleal. But most of it is more subterfuge than actual combat. If my sources are correct, both sides are trying to bide their time before staging a decisive strike on the other side that will ensure their demise." Trinity said, trying to explain as best as she could. "I'm not sure how accurate my information is but I'm not about to try and find out for myself willingly. They are state affairs and I don't want to have anything to do with the Grimleal's pursuit of resurrecting Grima unless they offer me the money, and even then I'd be doing it for the money rather than their faith." Trinity giggled.
She hoped that would sate the girl's thirst for knowledge, and she hoped that she had not said anything that would further pique the girl's curiosity. That would be a little concerning if she did, but perhaps it could benefit Isolde in the long run too, giving her a more broader outlook of the world rather than to be sheltered.

Ah, so the royal family of Plegia was currently fighting against the Grimleal. Such a conflict was violent by any means, but it was how Plegia had done things during the present. It was fortunate that Trinity was not there to take part of it since she had preferred to stay neutral and just enjoy life as it is. Still, it sounded like the royalty of Plegia would probably need help fighting off the Grimleal, but some people just didn't want to take part in a civil war. She wondered if there were other issues that might be of concern, but that was enough for now.
It sounds a lot like what's happening in Ylisse with all those noble houses fighting over who gets the throne after the Exalt died years ago. I don't like pointless fighting." Though, the fighting could be remedied if those noble houses settle their differences, but no. The fighting had been going on for years now...and she would have to take a stand against it. Possibly, there might be no Exalt to rule over the halidom anytime soon.

Trinity sighed before stretching in place. She was indeed fortunate, she cared little for such affairs, instead, she would only bother to get involved with them if she could earn money from it. After all, she needed to further herself. And perhaps if she could use the situation there as an excuse to help smuggle Sonya out of the danger zone, then she would take that opportunity. Truth to be told, Trinity wasn't fully aware of the finer details. "Looks like the world's gone to hell with the recent happenings. The Exalt dying certainly did a number. Nobody likes pointless fighting, I don't like it sometimes, even. But it's also this kind of political climate and environment where people like me thrive - nobles want other nobles dead, but they don't want to dirty their hands, so they use folks like us to do the work for them. Of course, they pay well, being the rich bastards they are," Trinity said, before looking at Isolde. "Not to sound insulting to your family, of course, I can't judge, but in my experience, most of 'em are slimeballs. I certainly hope your family aren't." Trinity finally said as a smile curled up on her lips.
Trinity idly looked up at the sky. "It must be nice to live a carefree life, huh? Not having to worry much about how to get the food on your plate every day..."

"I just wish that I could do something to stop all this meaningless fighting. The world would've never degraded like that if the nobles had common sense about it." If nothing was done to stop it, the world might've suffered from the fighting and all the nobles might succeed in killing each other. The worst fear that everyone had was that Ylisse might be in a state of chaos for a long amount of time, thus she wanted to do something about it. Plegia might have their own problems there, but some people choose not to take part of it. It was alright as some people evacuated while the conflict was at large and some of the other foreign countries had their own wars.
"Thankfully, my family never takes part in such wars. Still, it is troubling to see my homeland slowly descend into madness." Wars were a part of the past, but when it was happening at this very moment, one could not help that the nobles should think about what they're doing. Seeing Trinity staring idly at the sky while saying that a carefree life was good to have around.

Trinity looked at Isolde as she mentioned that she wished she could do something to stop the fighting going on between the nobles. "As long as people hunger for power the meaningless fighting will never end. It keeps people like me in business, to be honest. Most folk don't like it but I've come to embrace it and be a part of it. It's not a virtuous life by any means but I don't claim to be a virtuous person," Trinity said, sighing and stretching in place. "Isolde dear, I'm dangerous. But if there's one thing I can tell you, it's that the world is a harsh place to live in right now. The nobles? They lack the common sense you think they should have, since they are blinded by their greed and lust for power. They'll do whatever it takes to get a slice of that cake. Intrigue. Betrayal. Deceit. They'll employ every old trick in the book to get what they want. Sad to be thinking about from the perspective of a prim, proper young lady as yourself, but you can't be sheltered from it forever."
Trinity sighed.
"History repeats itself, after all. Best you can do is live on and fight through it. Become strong. And be able to defend yourself and the things and people you live for."

For the most part, she didn't think that Trinity was dangerous. Up until...Trinity revealed that she was dangerous and that she gave her own opinion on the matter. It seemed as if the chaos would never stop because it was born that way. Plus, it was how people like Trinity thrive to do business in order to make a living for themselves. She was possibly the weakest out of the family due to how she never actually fought unless she had a reason to. The reason being to fight when she was needed anyway.
After Trinity had finished talking, she spoke with a sigh. "Perhaps, you're right. I can't be sheltered from the entire world forever and someday, I may have to get stronger...in order to protect myself and my ideals." After all, it was probably for the best that the fighting might go on for some decades, but there could be hope. Hope that one day, the nobles might see the error of their ways or not, depending on how that wish for peace goes through to them. If not, she figured that she might have to live through the hard times going on in Ylisse and just live like people do during turmoil.

Trinity looked at Isolde as she stated her agreement with what the witch had just said. It looks like something had gotten through to her head after all. If anything, Trinity just smiled and nodded. The kid did need to learn sooner or later. It was best to start now than to experience something traumatizing later when you were unprepared to face the hardships that would inevitably come. "You better train hard, then. I don't know how you fight, or how you plan to. But it's a rough life out there. Hard to make ends meet sometimes. So you always have to be on your A-game. Do your best, be the strongest you can possibly be. Me, I'm always living life on the edge, it helps me stay sharp. Plus, I do love the thrill of it all. So there's my take on it." Trinity explained again, resting her head on one of her hands now.
"Well, what you do with your life is all up to you. It's in your hands. Whether you want to do something about the chaos, or whether you want to revel in it, or whether you want to hide from it all... Just be aware that you should be best to prepare for the consequences. Just speakin' from experience and providing you some advice. I might be dangerous, but I can control what makes me dangerous."
