The Pegapony Princess of Love Truth and Justice!
This town... She frequented it more than the countryside and it was also her home which was a plus. Well, she actually lived in a manor of sorts since her family was extremely wealthy. As always, it was filled with bustling people just flowing in and out of the marketplace. Once she was there though, she'll have to be on the lookout for bandits or suspicious people. Even so, she was still trusting of someone who didn't look much like a hoodlum, so it was a trait of hers. However, it was that very trait that could get her kidnapped or even worse, killed. The local library could be visited once again, but no. She wasn't in the mood for reading right now and sightseeing might be a better option.
Sometimes, she wondered if her family would ever let her go by herself and not to mention that there were suspicious people just walking about. It'll be okay though, those people were kind of nice to begin with and thus, she might even meet someone who was a bit amicable despite their past of bloodshed. All in all, befriending people was a bit easy if one didn't meet any strangers that might pose a danger to her. Still, she was confident that she could go outside without the fear of being murdered in cold blood. Usually, that kind of fear was for people who were afraid to trust even the nicest of strangers.

Trinity in all her crimson-clad glory was casually walking through the very same marketplace that she would be spotting this younger lady, blonde just like herself. Trinity turned and indeed caught her eye of a young lady who looked childlike enough that she'd seem like the type to be furiously guarded by her parents or bodyguards. Giving the girl an innocent smile from a distance, Trinity continued on her business, haggling with, quite frankly, a terrified merchant. The other merchants and vendors at the marketplace either seemed relieved Trinity was not talking to them or were gossiping about the misfortune of her appearance at this particular establishment during this particular time. Actually, Trinity was simply just negotiating the potential of lowering the price on what appeared to be some food. Eventually the merchant gave in and let Trinity buy what turned out to be some fruit at a slightly discounted price.
Trinity herself did not look terrifying at all, in fact she was acting very polite in front of the merchant, which was why to anyone who was unfamiliar with Trinity's reputation, it was a very strange sight to behold. After all, what's wrong with a girl in red politely haggling with a merchant? She wasn't holding any weapons or anything, nor did she seem like the type to be a bandit. Then again, her reputation probably preceded her, and the common folk may most likely be well aware of Trinity's propensity to murder in cold blood. Not like she'd do it randomly, though. She has standards.

Eventually, there seemed to be a lady in red whom had an errand of haggling with goods and the lady did give an innocent smile to show that she was not dangerous at all. She had never seen anyone who could be so polite and yet give out a terrifying air towards the merchants. Probably goes to show that people can be trusted even if they had an air of terror in them. In actuality, this woman seemed to be polite with the merchant and didn't really look suspicious at all. The only thing that she'll have to worry about was people that could be hiding amongst the crowd as a bandit. Scary as it may sound, she was not afraid to go alone and without some guard to protect her while she was shopping for something. The childlike innocence that she exuded probably helped with protecting her from bad things going on during an age of turmoil. She spoke out to the lady in red.
"Good day, ma'am. It's a nice day out there, isn't it?"

Trinity, holding a basket of fruits (where she got the basket from was anybody's guess) now turned to move into the other direction but was soon stopped by the girl she smiled at as she was spoken to. A nice day out there, she was asking. The merchants nearby pretended not to witness the scene that was about to occur. "Well, young lady, it is quite a nice day out right now. I'm hungry, so I was just trying to see if I could buy some fruit, but the man was not being too nice to me at first," Trinity said, sighing and fanning herself with her hand. "May you give me your name, young madam?" Trinity asked politely, casually taking a banana from her basket and beginning to eat it. Though the merchant she had just bought the fruit from was afraid, he seemed to be focused on counting the money that Trinity had paid him, which meant at least that despite her true nature she still tried to carry out other things honestly now compared to her beginnings as a petty thief.
"Of course, I'd be happy to introduce myself first, miss. I'm Trinity." she said, smiling warmly. Ever since THAT fateful encounter, Trinity's found herself more easily amicable to random encounters like this. Maybe something from that lovely dark-haired lady rubbed off on her. Who knows? Regardless, Trinity was piqued by this young lady who randomly came up to her and tried to strike up a conversation with her. That was fearless. Then again, maybe she was not aware of who Trinity was.

"Nice to meet you, Trinity. I'm Isolde." The red-clad lady seemed to be a bit upset that the merchant was scared of her, almost as if the lady had terrified the merchant. But, it was okay. Why would a merchant be afraid of the woman after she had politely tried to buy some fruit to satisfy her hunger? Trinity might be able to project an air of kindness to the merchant, but some shopkeepers weren't easily fooled. Perhaps, they were scared of the woman's reputation, but the girl hadn't heard of anyone who would try to murder a poor merchant. The merchant could be less scared if the lady didn't have an air of terror whenever she walked, but for some reason, the girl didn't seem to think so. "I can tell that those merchants were terrified of you. I don't really think they should have a reason to be scared of you. After all, you're a really nice lady."
Meanwhile, the other merchants seemed to be ignoring the scene that was happening, probably not to provoke a reaction from an otherwise nice lady in red. She couldn't quite get why they were looking away though, perhaps they might not want to interfere with a conversation going in the marketplace. Still, business would probably be ruined if there was an alleged thief roaming about the marketplace, just waiting to prey upon the rich.

"Pleasure to meet you Miss Isolde," Trinity simply said, nodding. "Can't say I blame the merchants. Seems it's hard for me to do some actual honest business anywhere nowadays without everyone thinking I'm going to curse them a grotesquely slow death..." she continued, looking ahead before turning to face Isolde again. It turns out the young lady really didn't know a thing about Trinity at all. She was either sheltered or just didn't talk to the common folk very much. Probably they didn't want to inform her about such a menace to society either, though for all they knew Trinity only really preyed on those she was given a price tag on. Very rarely would she do it for other reasons. Trinity didn't really like the place she was talking to Isolde in either, so perhaps it would be better to take the conversation elsewhere. Smiling, Trinity looked at Isolde again.
"I'm glad you think I'm really nice, though. It's hard around here to make ends meet when you're in my line of work. Anyway, this place is quite stuffy. Would you like to chat somewhere more comfortable, Miss?" Trinity asked. "Maybe you know of a nice relaxing place not too far from here that you'd be more comfortable in staying in. Maybe not too far from where you live." Trinity said, trying to sound as innocent as possible. Yet it was all too easy for the more afraid to read far too much into what Trinity was saying.

"Sure. I think I know a cafe that's far from here. It's definitely better than talking in the marketplace where everyone can hear you." The lady's line of work might have a profound effect on those she met since everyone seems to be terrified of her and there might be a few who were just friends of this lady. Still, she had known that someone might have a good heart inside despite having built up a reputation of terror. She did know the directions to the cafe since it was the one that she frequented whenever she was thirsty or just wanting to chat. Her parents might be upset if she hung out with a stranger that she didn't know, but she did not care in the slightest. After all, it was only if there was a suspected bandit hanging out with her that would be worrying.
It was okay. Her parents wouldn't have to worry with her hanging out with Trinity much. The lady was quite amicable and she wouldn't hurt a fly. Overprotective parents were a bit troubling though, but they were mostly loving with their children. Countless times where she would have to tell them to not worry about her too much were a must if she was going out alone without a guard to protect her.

Trinity nodded as Isolde explained that she knew a cafe that's quite a ways away from their current location, and that it would be a better place than the marketplace which was at this point fairly crowded and volatile what with Trinity's mere presence and everything. Trinity looked more carefully at Isolde, taking into account her seemingly innocent disposition. From the way she carried herself and from her general appearance, Trinity surmised she must be the overprotected daughter of a noble family or some house thereof. Trinity didn't really like dealing with nobility anymore because she found it particularly boring, and it wasn't fun to just kill and mess with them wantonly. Sure, she'd do it if she were paid enough, but at this point in time, it just wasn't worth it anymore. Well, at least Isolde was kinda cute. She wouldn't want to see someone like that dead. Plus she seemed nice enough. The least Trinity could do was to amuse her somehow.
"So, if you may, please lead the way. The marketplace is getting quite stuffy and I'd hate to raise a panic here without really meaning to. We can talk more there." Trinity said softly. She was a little impressed at Isolde though, having the courage to go up and talk to her despite the fact she exuded some sort of terrible aura around her.

Taking into account that Trinity wanted to be led to the cafe in question, she nodded and walked out of the marketplace, only stopping, so that Trinity could at least catch up. All those people might've stared at the two if they continued talking in the marketplace since the lady might get some nasty insults from the frightened townspeople. Certainly not a pretty sight, but they were quite scared of the lady already. Walking over to where the stores are, she was pretty sure that the cafe was just ahead and it was quite secluded from the marketplace. She had been there a few times just to relax and have a cup of tea while watching the people walk by. After a couple of minutes of walking, she finally reached their destination where they could chat away from the prying eyes of the townspeople. Sure, some of them were the curious sort, but there was a difference in eavesdropping on a conversation not meant for some ears.
"Well, here we are. We can talk here since most of the time, people won't ever stop to hear our conversation. They'll just be busy doing something else."

Trinity sighed in relief as Isolde seemed to understand the situation they were in, and the way she walked to lead Trinity was a little fast. Isolde found herself stopping to let Trinity catch up, which was a surprise for the Crimson Witch. Did Isolde really fancy her as a nice person? Regardless, Trinity found herself glaring at some passersby who were throwing quiet insults at her, leading her to wiggle her fingers and point at the offenders, who ran away fearing that they would become cursed. Sighing, Trinity continued to obediently follow Isolde, and at last, they arrived at the said cafe, which was quite far from the marketplace. It did look relaxing and it looked like they could finally relax and talk without fear of disruption. "Well, that's fair enough. This place does look quite comfortable and cozy. Let's find a spot to sit for now, then." Trinity simply said as she looked about and soon found an empty table for two by which Trinity beckoned for Isolde to come over. "This one looks good, we can sit here." she said.
Trinity was curious about this Isolde. Such an innocent and child-like looking girl all alone and approaching her of all people, what was she thinking? Was this Isolde just unaware of her, or was she crazy? Perhaps Isolde saw something in Trinity that others did not? Maybe it was like with Sonya, when the two of them had fallen in love with each other. Perhaps there was just that sort of X-Factor. Who really knew?

She sat down at a chair opposite at Trinity's side of the table and it was a good thing that they could chat far away from the marketplace. The cafe was seemingly empty, although there still might be waiters and waitresses working here. At least, nobody could hear what they were saying since it was secluded and therefore, it was quite safe to talk here. She was curious about Trinity though, the lady must've had an interesting life. Perhaps, she might ask her some questions to satiate her curiosity and she had no clue why she decided to approach a lady whom exuded an air of terror. Trinity was nice enough and she was polite to the people she met...sort of. The merchant and the other townspeople were scared of her though, almost as if she was a witch or something cursing their name. Without a doubt, she broke the awkward silence that followed.
"So, can I ask you where you come from?"

Trinity looked at Isolde as she sat opposite her. Now that the crimson witch could get a closer look at Isolde she could definitely see why the latter would be protected... At least, why her parents inevitably thought she SHOULD be protected. She really did look like a child. Trinity clasped both of her hands together in thought before Isolde asked Trinity where she came from. "My story's long... But I'm actually from Plegia. I left Plegia a few years ago in search of a bigger thrill, which is the long story cut short. I don't align myself with those worshippers of Grima, nor do I particularly support the Ylissean endeavours toward Naga..." Trinity said, shrugging. "I live for myself, really." Trinity said simply, wondering if Isolde was thinking to ask more personal questions. Trinity would be perfectly fine with indulging the younger lady, but for once, she found herself wondering if it was particularly... healthy to. Trinity's upbringing led her to have a rather skewed sense of morality, but for someone like this Isolde, she couldn't help but get a dirty taste in her mouth for having to expose Isolde to such a world of cruelty and violence.
"Would you like to know more? I mean, I'll warn you here and now, my story's... Rather unpleasant and not for the faint of heart." Trinity said softly, with a lower voice. The way she sounded was a little unsavory but she was trying to warn Isolde about it. Maybe it would teach her a thing or two about the world, maybe not... But...

"Yes please. I think I can handle it, don't worry. Might be interesting to know more about you too." So, Trinity was from Plegia... She said that she didn't align herself with the Grima worshippers and chose not to be involved with it, same with the happenings going on in Ylisse. Now, the young lady knew that the lady in red was different in that she had a neutral view of the world and it was a good thing too. Neutrality meant that the person would never get involved with two different things that were occurring in the world, much less participate in them. Perhaps, she could learn a thing or two from the woman's story and she would think that she didn't have to participate in the affairs of the Ylisseans either. That meant not fighting in wars and just staying home where she would be safe from all the bad things. Protected from the evils that the world had wrought upon the Ylissean homeland.

Trinity nodded as Isolde said that she thought she could handle it, and expressed interest in wanting to learn more about her. Well, that was certainly intriguing. Well, if she said it was alright, Trinity felt it should be alright. She cleared her throat as if preparing to tell someone a bedtime story. "Now, you might be surprised to hear it, but I've got a lot of Fell blood running through my veins. So you can imagine the surprise and disgust of my family when I declared that I did not care for their worship and said I wanted nothing to do with it. Of course, I never said such rude things like calling it stupid, I just had little respect for the act, is all. Now, I was thusly branded a heretic, and cast away from my family, spared only because they thought they could get me to change my mind by disowning me," Trinity said, grinning.
"Of course, they were wrong. I resorted to a life of crime, stealing, and defending myself from assailants and assassins after my throat when I became a wanted criminal of Plegia. I learned to become one of the very people who wanted me dead, and soon it was I who became the killer, it was I who became the spellblade of the rich," she continued, tapping her fingers on the table. "No one could stop my rampage. As long as I got my money, I would kill whoever I was told to kill. Even if I didn't want to touch them. Eventually, life in Plegia got too boring for me. I left my homeland and moved to Ylisse, in search of new thrills, a new start, a new life. And truth to be told, I was mostly disappointed, until now." Trinity said, recalling Sonya.
"I was here now hopefully looking for a long-term assignment or contract so I could... do a favor for a very close, dear love of mine. Unfortunately I failed, so I went off to go buy some fruit. And that's where I met you." Trinity concluded, smiling. She hoped the brevity of her story would work in her favor.

And there she sat, listening to Trinity's story as the lady recounted how she was born in Plegia and had no interest in participating in the activities of the other Grimleal. This lady seemed to take a life of crime as she recounted going on a killing spree and killed those who she was told to kill, kind of like how a mercenary seemed to do their job. Of course, mercenaries had a way of life where they had to earn money to support themselves. But, Trinity's life was different and it was kind of sad that her family had disowned their daughter, but it was possibly for the best. After all, Trinity didn't seem to like worshipping the Fell Dragon at all and the Plegians would probably have her head for it. The lady did mention that she had a lover waiting for her to finish an errand and it was quite a journey for Trinity to arrive in Ylisse.
"It sounds like you have a hard life going on in Plegia, but I do respect your decision to not participate in the Grimleal's worship of the Fell Dragon. I can see why your family doesn't accept you for who you are."
