The ruins painted a romantic, mysterious picture of themselves in the light of the setting sun. It had recently rained - and the ground had not quite dried, and the scent of rain was still heavy in the air, though the rainclouds had long since broken up into smaller ones. The ruins likely hailed from a timeframe before the rise of Naga, and were quite a ways from Ylisstol. In another situation, they would have been the perfect place for any aspiring adventure to explore, with long, winding hallways and archaic looking designs along the walls... where they were not covered with moss or beaten down by time. Most of the ruins still had... well, something of a roof to be a shield from the rain, though what was left was full of holes and rather... well, suspect, as if enough magic or stomping about could threaten a collapse.
However, it doesn't take walking into the ruins to know that something is wrong. There are the tell-tale sounds of Risen emanating from inside, shuffling about and groaning, scraping at the walls - quite unnerving, to those who had never dealt with such creatures before. The risen inside appear to be your standard, bloodthirsty risen - attacking all that they can see, with little purpose. One Revenant seems to be the 'boss' of the rest of the Risen (though how much that truly means is debatable) and is considerably more hardy and dangerous than the rest.
Outside of the Risen and the group of four that arrived, though, there seems to be nobody else here. Perhaps they were all scared away by the Risen, or didn't dare to disturb this particular set of ruins - either way, the four certainly had nobody to save... but they also had no backup for miles.
Tucked away inside the ruins are two chests. One is at the end of a dark, winding corridor, and is guarded by a Sword Risen. The other is not guarded at all, but it is half covered by debris.
ENEMIES
2 Revenant, 1 Bow Risen, 2 Sword Risen, 2 Axe Risen
2 chests to open. (Location: End of a dark corridor, Location: Behind a pillar, half covered by debris)
The two Sword Risen have Chest Keys, and will drop them upon death.
note: i'll decide what's in the chests it'll be fun you can totally trust me
