All in all, it seemed like it had been a good day's work for the Plegian crown. Perhaps they were one step closer to defeating the Grimleals with the Knights of Cydonia set free within the country. Maeve allowed herself a restrained dose of optimism. Any more would be getting ahead of herself; the Knights were certainly idealistic and enthusiastic, but so far, she had no reason to believe they would ever realize their hopes and dreams. They were untried, and she was loathe to be the first one to test them. She walked through the Knights' camp, leaving the large meeting tent behind and making her way back to the Plegian encampment, not paying too much attention to her surroundings as she smiled and tried to look as friendly (in that regal, distant way, because it was all she could manage) as she could to the Knights she passed.
