blah blah blah. wanna join me, come and play. But I might claw you in your face. wings and tails will do the trick, what do we need is? a little bit of panic!
Another beautifully bright as heaven itself day! The white snow would blind the lesser beings, and well, so would her skin if they paid attention yeah? Azrael was not tan, but she wasn't snow white. She was definitely pale, as her hand swung one of her blue braids round and round and round. The girl was humming a little tune, hopping and skipping in the snow, as her pink-red eyes were looking for someone, anyone, to have a little bit of... fun time with. You see, Azrael was beyond bored. She was positively board stiff if you caught her drift, and she wanted to raise a little bit of energy. That of course, came hand in hand with chaos, and she was pretty sure that the two Khans would not enjoy her little trouble making ways right now.
But she soooo wanted to.
The manakete let out a sigh because she had to behave, and nobody would let her just go around and like... crips some nuggets. She avoided killing people, but she wasn't above you know, setting their houses on fire. That was fun, seeing them run around like chickens without a head. Maybe she should head back in the ocean? Terrorize some fisher man, and hum a two note melody, and just wow them with her JAWS. Yeah, that was always an option. Well okay not so much now because there was no actual big boat in the bloody place, because the friggin' disaster cut'em off from going to another place. Az was sure she could swim there if she really, REALLY wanted to, she was a shark dragon.
But the point of it is, she didn't want to. It was boring.
So with a final flick, the girl stopped, looking around her for something to do. Ah yes, maybe set herself up as an innocent damsel and then trap the ever living breath out of anyone that wandered by? She was close to a border wasn't she? Couldn't she just hop into Plegia and like, smoke some of those tumbling things. What were they called Risen? ''Pft, more like Clumsies haha!'' she said out loud, uncaring of whom might happen to hear her. Well whatever, she was sure there was /something/ around here that she could have so much fun with.
Keywords were something, and around here of course. She had to find the bloody thing first. (C) ELLIE @ GANGNAM STYLE

"Hup-two-three-four~! Hup-two-three-four~!" A merry marching tune echoed down a nearby path, being sung by what appeared to be a massive rucksack on legs.
Wait, no, it was just Oliver, barely visible beneath a massive bag on his back. He looked a little pale and tired, but despite his slow, strained pace he kept a spring in his step and a merry marching tune in his heart. Next to him walked his mule, who occasionally took a look at the wandering boy and snorted in concern.
"No worries, Ol' Bess!" the boy chirped between pants. "If I'm gonna want to be strong, I need to know to do my own heavy lifting, right? So I figure why don't I just do all the heavy lifting now, and then when I really need to get a move on my usual load will be like nothing at all!" He laughed a little as he gently tapped the backpack, a series of clinking noises indicating it was absolutely loaded with spare armor and weapons. "I mean, what could possibly go wrong?"
The mule stopped short at a sudden tree branch in the path, watching and cringing slightly as Oliver stumbled right over it and fell flat on his face. The boy tried to push himself up, arms visibly straining under the weight of all the armor as he barely forced himself to one knee. "O-okay, maybe that. Just a little slip, though. Should all be smooth sailing from here!" His goofy smile returned as he eventually propped himself back up, resuming his marching tune as he once more continued his walk.
It was a good thing he was on a perfectly ordinary path, surely not home to any incredibly chaotic dragon ladies or anything like that.

OliverOh, oh OOOOH~! She found it~! With a hope, the girl had noticed the mule, and the poor little guy carrying like, a huge backload of stuff... and tumble! ''HAHAHA CLUMSIES!'' she called out, finding herself rolling on the ground out of laughter. Okay, not like the poor tweeny, weeny human would see or hear that, the Manakete's senses... marginally better. Then most that is. The girl wanted to play with that one, as she bounced down the road, and finally would come into view of at least the mule. And probably that dragon manakete thing would either freak out the poor thing, or it wouldn't even notice. It was kind of like that with mounts you see, the more sensitive ones easily picking up on her... unnatural sense. ''Hey, you! Yeah you with the twinky cling pack yeah!'' she said, planting both feet on the road, and gesturing both widely and wildly at the red garbed male. ''Fabulous, some one does travel this dingy place! Right, I have a super huge favour to ask of you small fry, so you gotta listen right good okay?'' she said, not even caring if he tried to say anything or protest or even stop. Stubborn dragon girl wanted some fun and this was the fun she had selected for herself. As to how it would develop.... well the girl wasn't sure, but she didn't really care either, as long as it didn't get boring in any measure. Because that was her main purpose here today. To not be bored out of her skull. ''Okay so the favour I gotta ask ya, is just entertain me! I'm bloody bored to tears here, I'll die if I don't get something fun to do! So please, please or please just lemme like, you know, have fun with you! Like you'll find out how but please please pleaaaase.'' she said, nearly begging at some points. But there was something in her eyes, those pinkish red orbs that just seemed to be amused at life in general. Oh yes, she would have fun with this poor traveler, the first one she had fallen upon, and now... she would no longer be bored no matter what she ended up doing! It was a win win scenario! So asking him to unbore her was probably her first and smartest move right now. (C) ELLIE @ GANGNAM STYLE

Ol' Bess moved back a little in surprise. She was used to sharing the road with others, but girls suddenly bursting out of nowhere were enough to catch her off guard. Especially when they seemed as . . . off as this one. She took a few steps in front of her rider and stood her ground, posture strong and unmoving. It was pretty clear which qualities the mule had that made her such a good cavalier mount.
Unfortunately, her healthy suspicions of the area around her weren't shared by her rider. Oliver simply walked over to the manakete, listening to her eager rambling attentively. "No worries, girl," he assured his mule, gently patting the mount's side. "Just a bored traveller. I mean, we're bored travellers, and I don't think we'd hurt anyone."
He then turned to the Manekete, grinning a bit. "Of course I'll help entertain ya! What'd ya have in mind?" The look in his eyes was trusting and sincere, and it was pretty clear he had no idea what to expect from the Manakete's idea of fun. Perhaps he was imagining some board games, or some hide and seek. You know, entertainment.
The poor, poor fool. At least what he doesn't know won't hurt him.
Right?

OliverOh my lord. He was riding a mule!? Or would if he wasn't carrying all of those packs and well the mule seemed to catch onto Az's intentions. She was about to flash her teeth when the male seemed to wrap up that line neatly, and then she started literally bouncing. ''Yes yes yes yes! I can finally NOT be bored thaaaank you soooo very much~!!'' she exclaimed, so very happy that he had agreed. Oh this would be so much fun, as the girl even walked up and then scooped the boy in her arms, packs and all in a tight hug. Considering how much exposed skin she had, he probably either had enough to be uncomfortable, or if he was that oblivious, he'd be just fine. She was just so happy, and then she let him go and smiled with closed lips. ''How about we get those packs off ye? I wanna do a foot race first, sounds like fun right?'' she said, wiggling her eyebrows in pure amusement. She was quite enthusiastic about the whole thing, as she seemed to be vibrating with energy, utterly content to have found someone that would enterain her despite their reservations. If he even had any in the first place, which considering how he walked up right to her he didn't. ''Come on come on, I wanna raaaace.'' she almost whined, but not quite. Much like an excited child, she stared at him with her reddish pink eyes, as if unable to stop looking at the male. Which was kind of true because he was the one that would offer her entertainment, as she made another impatient noise, bouncing in her position some more. Antsy and needy, she just wanted to go do things already, but first a foot race was a good idea. ''I'mma let you start it okay!? So just tell me when ready!'' she said, trying to qwell her puppy like excitement for the moment, but barely managing. If she had a tail, it would be wagging so hard and fast right now... luckily, her wings melded around her chest perfectly fine, without a bump. But she had no tail either, which was just fine. The girl just wanted to get racing because she wanted to see this guy in action! Maybe she would even spar with him if he showed enough promise to her right? (C) ELLIE @ GANGNAM STYLE

Oliver certainly didn't expect that. For a second he wasn't sure what to do, blushing slightly in a mixture of embarrassment and surprise as the girl suddenly hugged him. With surprisingly huge strength, too! For a second the boy was unsure what to do, although once the shock wore off he returned the hug and grinned. Hooray for making new friends!
Once he was put down, the mysterious girl gave her idea for entertainment. A footrace, huh? Speed wasn't really the boy's forte, but he was always up for a challenge! His grin widened confidently as he stood to his full height, answering her challenge. "Oh, you're on!" he called, shedding his bags and leaving them next to his mule. "Mind watching these, Old Bess?" he asked. "Can't go running with all that armor on, after all." He dropped the bags, each making a loud jingling noise.
Then he stood into position, noting his new friend's squirming and figuring he should pick up the pace. He pointed off into the distance, a large funny-looking rock barely in his sights. "How about . . . there! That sound like a good finish line to you?" He figured for someone so enthusiastic, the further the stopping point the better. And once that was all established, it'd finally be counting time.
"3!
2!
1! Let's go!"
The boy waited a split second to make sure his voice had registered (it'd be cheating if he ran before she even had a chance, and a hero never cheated!) before dashing off. He wasn't the fastest of runners, but with all the effort he was putting in surely he'd be able to pick up a good, steady pace.

OliverHey, the male actually hugged her back. Neat. Well whatever, he seemed to be getting everything ready and Azrael was so impatient about it all. She did like his competitive spirit, and closed mouth grin, feeling her energy just peak up. She would have to moderate her speed, and not go blazing ahead of course. It would be funner if he had a chance, and then she yanked it away from me at the last moment. A last second victory, one that often made people mad. She wondered if he would get mad, or just take it. The dragon girl wasn't sure, but with this, she'd figure if she found a pushover, someone she could more then easily drag on all of her adventures and then some. This would be fun, as the male got ready to count down. She had nodded when he pointed out the finish line, and she felt her face flush into a huge grin. Of course, when he said go, the girl let out a laugh. He wasn't fast, but decent, as the girl kept up with him. She just let the two of them keep the same pace, in fact, letting him have a slight lead for the entire race. But soon, too soon to her, she saw the rock. And viciously, she felt the grin on her face. the more they approached, the more she hung a bit more back, letting him feel like she was tiring, like he was winning. Yes, inch by inch he would be winning. Until they were about thirty seconds from the finish line. Or he was. With a sudden burst, the girl pulled her muscles in, and fed them her draconic strength. Launching herself, she pushed the air aside, feeling her whole mouth light up in a shark tooth grin. The male would have only a few seconds to realized that the girl that had been losing, was now past him, winning, and then turned around to face him. Her teeth were white, as she laughed, but now it was visible. Her teeth looked sharper then normal, shark-like if he was familiar with sharks. If not, they were odd, triangular shaped for some. Which would explain the closed mouth earlier when interacting with him. ''Hehehe, that was fun right~?'' she said, crooning within her mind. Snatching a victory like that, was fun! Of course, she could've won long before him, but... she had wanted to make it more fun for her. She wondered if he would be crushed and not play with her anymore. Most people ended up doing that, namely because Azrael was so good at crushing people at the last second. But maybe, just maybe she hoped this guy would be different, for once in her long, long life. AzraelHa! The patented Oliver Gambit was working! Keeping at a steady pace until his rivals tired out was one of Oliver's most tried and true strategies when it came to running races, and it seemed it was working like a charm against his new friend too. Now, as the finish line neared, he'd just have to turn up the speed and kick things into overdri- Whoa, what the heck happened there!? Before Oliver blinked, the strange girl had been a good distance behind him and he had just started to speed up. In just the time it took for him to open his eyes again, she had blasted past him so fast she nearly looked like a blur. He pushed his legs as hard as they could go, hoping to try and catch up with his last wind, but she had completely and utterly left him in the dust. He skidded to a halt, mentally chiding himself for letting his guard down and getting his own strategy turned on him. "Man, I thought I had that one!" he said, more disappointed in his own ineptitude than the fact that he lost the race. However, as he thought more on the situation, he wondered if he stood a chance in the first place. She was fast. Like, really fast. Even if Oliver put 110% into his racing, he wasn't even sure he'd be able to catch her. "You're right. That was pretty fun!" he admitted, returning her grin. Wait, what was with her teeth? "How'd you get that fast? Because that was so cool!" Hero isn't a noun It's a verb
