A bath? Well... okay, that was sort of a problem. It was more sneaking around, drawing water, and was considerably more intensive than just going to sleep, smelling like horse or not. That said, Inessa couldn't just say, 'why don't you deal with smelling like horses? I don't mind', could she? "...Well, that's not too much of an issue. Just, we'll have to take a bath together." She went for the obvious teasing route instead, and then took it back with a laugh. "I'm kidding! ...Honestly, I don't mind, I can just wash the sheets, but... it's not a problem to get a bath started for you." And she supposed Victorie could borrow some of her clothes, though there was the issue of... would they even fit? Who knew. Okay, like, they definitely wouldn't fit Victorie's, er, assets. That was an unfortunately unquestionable fact. ...And Victorie brought up the elephant in the room of sleeping together. Well... "I could just sleep... on the floor, or something," Inessa responded, though she backed towards the door. "But there is only one bed, so- hold on, how about... you think about it? And I'll go set up that bath for you." Thank god for the excuse of a bath, really. Inessa ran away, leaving Rose and Victorie to their lonesome for quite a bit of time as she scurried about, getting everything ready. At least there was a bathroom of sorts nearby, and not on the other side of the castle - whoever designed this castle made sure that the royalty had everything they needed with minimum exertion required. At least it was useful when smuggling people in, though Inessa definitely couldn't say she expected ever having to set up a bath for someone else. After checking the bath water's temperature several times, Inessa returned, poking her head into her room, and asking - "Do you have clothes to change into?" "text" |
