• Pepe was born into a rather large warren, being the only spawn of his parents. From birth Pepe had always been a rather jolly person, usually preferring to entertain his friends with different kinds of stories he had invented and stories of his parent's adventures outside of the warren in the snow ridden hills of Regna Ferox.
• While growing Pepe had at one time gone out of his warren for a week, nominally on some herb gathering duty. In actuality he had gone out to meet his human "sweetheart" of sorts. Of course, both were only ten or so years old at the time, but they still felt like they shared a special connection of sorts. The girl, Flavia, named after the Khan of the same name, was always very sweet and accepting of him and he used to sleep in her house, hiding from her parents.
• Over the years their relationship grew over to being actually romantic, and Pepe spent more and more time out of his warren. Weeks turned into months and months turned into years as Pepe had grown to a sturdy if slightly chubby adult of 20 years. Over this time Pepe had researched the human ways of binding each other, and had actually prepared for a proposal of sorts involving flowers, a pile of mud and some sticks.
• But one night, as he was returning to his warren after a good while of being away to ask his parent's permission for binding himself to Flavia, he encountered a rather horrid sight. His warren had been set aflame from the inside, the skinless corpses of his parents and his friends set upon on sharp spears as their hides had been taken for warmth and comfort. Who could have found the warren? Who was responsible? Pepe's heart broke as he had realized that he had told Flavia about his warren and it's location. Had his love betrayed him? It was the only logical option.
• Pepe was disgusted both with himself and his love as he disappeared into the stormy night, never to see her again. He spent years wandering the snowy hills as he spent time thinking to himself. Eventually, some wounds healed. He slowly grew less bitter and back into a caring man, and eventually he got over his survivors guilt. But one thing was clear. He would never completely forgive the humans or Flavia, if he was to ever see her again.

His taguel form is a skunk. He hides most of his fur and such inside his stuffy clothes, and his tail is hidden inside them as well.
