BIO
• Gairovald was born between the illegitimate union of a highborn noble mother and commoner father. Obviously the mother's family disapproved and threatened to disown her. While the mother was willing to give up her nobility, the father disappeared with Gairovald, believing that it would be better for her.
• The father raised Gairovald in a backwater village. His father never told Gairovald much about his mother, only telling him that she loved him and lied about her dying shortly after Gairovald was born.
• At the village, Gairovald sole friend was a girl around his age. Obviously they both fancied each other, albeit too embarrassed to admit it, and were inseparable. However when Gairovald was ten, hard times fell upon the village and an unnamed cult festered. Gairovald's father fell to the cult's lure and the girl that was his friend was kidnapped as a sacrifice. The cult tortured her and left her to die. When Gairovald found her, it was too late. She told him about the cult, about how his father was the one who kidnapped her, and requested that he killed her now rather than leaving her to die a slow death. Reluctantly, Gairovald gave his first love a mercy killing and vowed vengeance. Tracking his father to the cultists' meeting place, Gairovald burned it down to the ground, killing everyone inside.
• Leaving the village, taking only a pendant her mother had given to his father, Gairovald wandered into the forest with nowhere left to go. As he collapsed on the forest road, a group of mercenaries found him. Apparently, word had gotten out that a strange cult had appeared in Gairovald's village and a bounty was placed. Obviously Gairovald had just burned alive the cultist that just sort of costed them their bounty until their leader, a woman named Scarlet, had an idea. She would adopt Gairovald and because he is under her care, she could get the bounty. The plan worked, but the mercenaries failed to think about what to do with Gairovald. They couldn't just abandon him without risking suspicions, never mind the moral repercussions on their conscience. With no options left, they decided to train the ten year old boy and to their surprise, he was a quick learner with plenty of potential, perhaps a bit too much potential if Scarlet had anything to say, a bit scared at how he had no issues burning to death his father along with the villagers he spent his entire life with, even if they were cultist. After a couple years, Gairovald was a proficient fighter and a valued member of the group and grew close to his new family, seeing Scarlet as the mother he never had.
• However, tragedy would strike once again on Gairovald's 16th birthday. In their last mission together, the mercenary group faced a group of Risen on a ship while Gairovald was coordinating with local authorities from the port. However, the Risen numbered far too many and faced with little choice Gairovald opted to have a group of magi destroy the ship before it reaches port, sinking it and the risen along with the mercenary group he came to find as a family. Once again, Gairovald was alone. From then on, Gairovald acted as a solo mercenary, afraid to let anyone close after having to killed family and friends on three separate occasions.

•Hobbies: Cooking, Violin, Reading, Housework (denies it), teasing people about their insecurities
•His mother's pendant is worn but contains a picture of her. However, he does not let anyone else see it so no one knows who his mother is.
•He used to be kind in both his inner and outer personalities. However, after killing his closest friend, father, and surrogate family, he has a bit of a difficult time expressing any kindness outwardly. So basically, he's a tsundere.
•Gairovald looks a bit older than his actual age, about three to four years older. Also, he stands at 178cm and weights 65kg.
