BIO
Sin’s father is what many called the “Bastard King”, his father had been born of both Plegian and Ylissean blood. Sin’s mother was a noble from Ylissean, but she was just the same as him with having two bloodlines within her--both being Plegian/Ylissean born. Even as the eldest born of the rightful King of Plegia--he would have rather have one of his younger siblings take it any day before himself.
Throughout the days Sin spent most of his time disregarding his education by the hands of his tutors. Many times escaping out of the castle to walk among the inhabitants outside of the walls--to everyone’s surprise--he learned far more from going outside, than from any book. During most other days--he spent his time watching the Wyverns and their riders completing their daily regimens.
His father soon took notice of his son’s interest in the Wyverns, and soon after Sin ceased his training with swords for an axe. Soon afterwards he was able to take classes with many other recruits hoping to learn. It wasn’t an easy task at first as they were never able to take riding classes until the age of 13. Once Sin turned 13 years of age, it was the first time that he had met Illumina.
At first it wasn’t easy--as Illumina was at first distant from him, and during most days of training--she would often fly off without him, or toss him off. Not matter what the Wyvern would do though--Sin wouldn’t give up trying to gain the Wyvern’s respect. Over time the Wyvern gave him the trust he needed, but even then--she continued to do the random flying off or tossing him off whenever possible.
At most Sin would attend meetings with his father after he turned 15, while he spend sword training with one of the tutors. Out of anyone within the family, Sin believed his father to be a kind King and hoped to rule like him one day. Though he wished his father would one day see him grow to be King--it did not last very long. It was a year after Sin's coronation that his father was assassinated, and it left his family devastated.
Though his father was kind and just ruler, who wanted to make things right--there would always be those that didn't think otherwise. For him to make a proclamation that he would do right--it wasn't long before someone wanted him dead. Though he should have known better that people would rally behind him--even though Sin himself believed what his father did was right. Sin continued to believe what his father was doing.
It was after his father's death that his mother became overprotective of him and his siblings. After the King's death, many nobles sought after the throne, using any means to get the throne--evening using the King's true upbringing. This did not deter Sin's mother, as they had the people's vote in this matter, which led to Sin being placed on the throne. It was the people's love of Sin's personality, and belief towards his father's goal that won him the throne.
Thus began the reign of Sin of House Plegia, also known as the silver-tongued king. Mostly known for his popularity towards his people, and the kindness he showed back towards them. With Illumina and his family by his side--he believed that he could rule Plegia the way his father wanted to rule it before. Unlike the other noblemen of the country--Sin did this for the good of the people instead of himself.
His rule did not last long however……
It wasn't a secret that Sin disliked most of the nobles in Plegia, and he had an even greater dislike for the followers and Grimleal. It was practically known by both his family, and anyone else that paid close attention to their King--so it really wouldn't have been long before someone wanted him dead. Though with the love of the people and Plegia men at arms behind him--it would have been a difficult decision to do--at least in order not to anger the people.
At least that was what most believed.......
It was suppose to be a simple visit to his mother's old home--they would stop by the border to recheck their supplies, stop by a neighboring noble, and then finally take the rest of their journey there. Sin believed that it would have been better for his siblings to stay at the palace. He trusted his own family over that of the noblemen of that had their eyes set on the throne ever since his father's death. Sin used Illumina as his means of travel while his mother traveled back coach with guards surrounded it, thus protecting her while Sin watched from the skies.
They had crossed the border when the attack happened--the men that attacked them looked more like bandits. Except the most oddest thing that struck Sin--was the fact that their weapons looked new. No mere bandits would ever have those kind of weapons unless they either stole a noble house's armory, or they were given the weapons as a means to kill someone for a reward. It had been unexpected at first when arrows started raining down at them.
Most of his men killed while the coach was pushed back towards the border to keep his mother safe. Sin, however was not so lucky in getting pushed back towards it--instead he found himself moving further away from the border. He had meant to move away from the archers, but there were more archers and mages than actual warriors. Sin tried to find a way back towards the border, but if he had been mind to his surroundings--he would have noticed the mage.
Pain rocked through his body when he realized that both he and Illumina were falling from the sky suddenly. He was still saddled on Illumina as the ground came close, and he remembered calling out her name to wake her. The ground came closer to them as he believed that he would die along with Illumina. Then a shift was felt and Illumina kept them both in the sky long enough not to hit anything that would outright kill them. It did not however stop Illumina from landing hard on the ground with the injuries that she had sustained from combat.
The impact of the ground was harsh even if she landed as low as she could, but couldn't land right from the burned side. Sin found himself thrown off her back from the impact, and the air rushed out of him. His body ached and it felt like an eternity before he could actually move his body again. Once he did--he regretted it as pain coursed everywhere over his body, and he gasped at the feeling of the cuts and bruises he would have received. One wound in particular was from an arrow as he pulled out the broken remains--even if they should have died--they somehow managed to survive the fall.
Sin and Illumina never returned to Plegia--their injuries took too long to heal, and before he knew it--his sister Maeve had taken the throne along with exiling their own brother, Ascher. Somehow a heavy lead feeling settled into his stomach as he couldn't figure out what to do next. He was assumed dead by many people of Plegia, most of them stating that he had been taken down by bandits indeed. While most believed it had been the work of either Grimleal or one of the nobles that wanted him dead.
Sin wishes to return back to Plegia, but not in the state that he is in--though his wounds have healed along with Illumina's--they can not just enter Plegia again. So for now, he travels around Ylissea taken the work as a mercenary for hire--all the while keeping his true identity a secret from others. Sin still carries the crest of his family with him, but not in the eyes of others--as he still does not know whom exactly was behind his attempted assassination, but neither is he foolish enough to fall for their tricks again.
OTHER
Sin stands about 6'1 and weights at 150 lbs. Out of his family--he has blonde and tanned skin--somewhat unusual, along with his father's blue eyes. Though most nobles wear clothes to show off their position--Sin wears clothes in which fit snugly to his body in order for him to fight as easily as possible. He has his sword sheathed to his left hip, and tends to never let himself go anywhere without it. Neither Sin or his father ever had the mark of Grima like most people of Plegia. for that he is thankful as he wants nothing to do with the Grimleal or Grima itself. Sin has multiple scars that have healed over the time that he and the others were attacked. His most noticeable is the one scar right on the left side of his chin--where it was cut by a branch during his & Illumina's fall.
Illumina is your average sized Wyvern, her scales are a white colored with what looks like a dust of red coloring going from the tip of her nose, down her spine to her tail. She is a very stubborn Wyvern that does whatever she pleases--sometimes either flying off on Sin before his say, or purposely throws him off when she gets the chance. However, as much as people would like to believe, Illumina is not a Wyvern that would harm Sin on purpose. In fact she's very protective of him, and would do whatever it takes to keep her partner safe from harm. Illumina has a few small scars where arrows and branches hit her, along with a large burn scar on the under the right side of her wing.
