BIO
• In a remote, Feroxian village far to the north, a blacksmith and his lover - a decendant of the manaketes - had a child, though they never married. While their village frowned at the notion of doing such a thing that went against village tradtions, the fact that Seris' mother could turn into a dragon largely stopped them from voicing anything out loud. It was early in her childhood that they discovered she could not use a dragonstone, causing both of her parents a degree of relief and worry.
• Incapable of performing feats like her mother, instead Seris followed in her father's footsteps, learning the trade of a blacksmith, and even from a young age, helping her father around the smithy, forging tools, and occasionally weapons. She discovered her father had a passion for forging armors, and put countless hours trying to forge a set to present to the Khans, though after years and years he never did forge a set to his satisfaction.
• He did forge a set that met his satisfaction, only before a string of calamities struck. First, Seris' mother's dragonstone was stolen. She left in pursuit of the thief and was never heard or seen again by anyone from the village. Shortly after a 'khan' visited the village. He was little more than a brigand, but his band of thugs was more than the villagers could handle. He stole the armor Seris father had painstakingly forged, and when the blacksmith tried to resist, the brigand killed him and razed the village.
• Surviving her home's destruction, Seris armed herself with equipment left over in the smithy, and set off. She lived in the wilds, making strikes against the false 'khan' who she found was a coward - a man who had amassed men with the intent to challenge the Khan, but never would. With methodical strikes, she slowly regained her father's works as well, piece by piece off the brigand's underlings.
• Her final confrontation with the brigand ended with her challenging him, killing him and taking the 'khan's' her father forged for herself, only minutes before the actual Khan of the time showed up, intent on eradicating the brigand's threat to surrounding villages. Impressed, the former Khan offered a position within the army for Seris after hearing her story. She agreed, her 'home' was a place for ghosts, and not a place she wanted to go back to.
OTHER
Her mother was 1/2 manakete, making her 1/4th manakete. However it was immediately apparent from the moment she touched a dragonstone that she had no capacity to transform, making her effectively human, though her decent makes itself known with the draconic appearance of her eyes in particular.
She's a bear of a lady. She stands at 6'3" and weighs (well it'd be rude to say, but its a lot of muscle lemme tell ya). She wears the heavy armor of a knight comfortably and without any severe issues, and she wears it without complaint in the harsh temperatures of Regna Ferox. (Fur linings help a bit probably).
Her favorite method of settling disputes is to ask people if they want to wrestle with her. Suprisingly, it usually settles the dispute without the need.
