BIO
• The only child to a relatively well-known military officer ('relatively' being the operative - being good on the field only takes you so far), Josephine was raised as a boy in her father's eyes - she was learning the weight and heft of weaponry of several types from the time she could walk, and it's a good thing, too - her 'natural' talents aren't really that impressive. There's something to be said for hard work and practice, though.
• Josephine has always been something of a heartbreaker - with girls and boys (but especially girls). Her first fight was, infact, over a a prospective partner - so was her second, and her third, and her fourth...
• This is helped by her ambigious appearance - flat chested, narrow waisted, and broad shouldered, Josephine's a pretty sight, but it's always been a toss up as to whether she's a girl or a boy to passers-by and strangers. Her father never minded - in fact, sometimes, he'd refer to her as his 'son'.
• After her father passed in battle, around the time Josephine was sixteen, she completely discarded the family legacy - well, not completely. She joined the military (like he wanted), but avoided any attempts to attain promotions or accolades on the field for anything more than her talents at 'not dying' and 'cutting people in half'. Whether this was out of laziness, a distaste for authority and responsibility, or for the extra freedom one enjoys as a footsoldier, it's hard to tell.
• After Grima's fall - something she was hardly involved in, even in the vaguest sense, often put into posts on the outskirts of the fighting or reserve units - Josephine broke ties with the military and hit the road - she styles herself as a 'wandering hero', and she's always looking for a damsel in distress or an arrogant drunkard to challenge to an arm-wrestling match. It just suits her better.

If you have anything else of note to add that may not be covered by the sections provided (a beast or dragon form, for example, habits that have come up, or running history of the family), this is the area to include them. If there is nothing to add, simply put N/A.
