A considerable size enough to divide the country. The Grimleal Army is a private army under High Priestess Ariel and is led by the Grimleal's "Chariot." Its forces are located across Grimleal's territories where its influence is strong. Those forces are each led by their commanders who will follow orders given to them by headquarters.
Soldiers of the Grimleal Army range from peasants and hired swords to nobles of various warrior families. They are assigned under a commander in their area. You can decide where you want your character to be. Take note that certain areas demand certain units over another. The force in Doluna wouldn't be accepting anyone with a horse or clad in armour; they would practically be immobile in a desert.
Commanders have free reign on what to do on their area as long as they do no disobey HQ command.
The identity of the general's army is confidential information. Some commanders may be aware of it depending on how close they are in the organization. Once the Grimleal have gathered enough forces, the general, Ibarra, will be directing the entire army to war.
Altea
Grimleal's fortress is located in its headquarters, Altea. Surrounded by the sea and located farther away from Ylisse, its strategic location and natural barriers make it a difficult place to attack. This small island is no countryside. Filled with Grimleal's precious supporters and preachers, they are naturally protected by Grimleal's own army. It is equipped with mounted crossbows and watchtowers.
Commander: OPEN/NPC (Sage + Wyvern Lord)
Soldiers: Lots of Wyvern Riders and spellcasters. Some of their best units are located here. Ground unit consists of knights and cavalries including death knights.
Grust
The most intense battlefield between the Grimleal and the Plegian army. The Grimleal has a base in Grust that they're using as a foothold for expansion. Altea helps it keep the battle by sending resources and fresh troops, but transportation is hampered by sea travel and the threats that come with it, such as piracy and storms. The Grimleal has no intention of losing Grust. They can't be pushed back now.
Commander: OPEN/NPC (Sorcerer)
Soldiers: Compromised mostly of mages, myrmidons, thieves, tanguels and barbarians. There is a small force of wyvern riders as well, though this unit is considered a reserve troop for when Plegia manages to breach through their line of defence.
Doluna
Being a desert, Doluna sees everyday skirmishes but no major battle has occurred just yet. It is a convenient place to gather forces and supplies as the people are not directly opposed to Grima. The forces in Doluna are not particularly strong but the desert makes the cost of attacking it much higher.
Commander: OPEN/NPC (Trickster)
Soldiers: Mages mages mages and manaketes and tanguels and others. Just really no cavaliers or knights around.
Medon
Plegia's border with Ylisse. The Grimleal sees the country and its people as hers so the Grimleal will continue to protect the country from the Ylisseans. The Grimleal in this area has occupied several castles but they do not actively engage in combat with the royal army. Having a common enemy is helping.

Soldiers: Mostly ground units.
