BIO
• Shamees came from a military family, the only child of a teenage mother who didn't know Shamees' dad. He was raised by his grandfather in a very strict environment where he was isolated from other people. Having had little affection from his family and no interaction with anyone else, he became very closed off and shy. Shamees was very mature for his age and somehow had an idea of the rough situation he was in. He accepted it as his own way of sympathizing his family's financial situation.
• He was enrolled in a prestigious for knights from pure ability. A charity case. This did little to alienate him from the others, much to his surprise. The community consisted of reasonable people and if he excelled with his kind of background, then all the more should praise be given to him. Shamees showed aptitude in both magecraft and martial arts, leading others to believe that he must be a half-ling of some sort (half-lings had greater potential for diverse talent). No one ever knew the truth as no one had any means of finding out. Shamees was certain he was very much a human, seconded by his own mother.
• Political instability strikes the country upon the death of its leader. Through the whimsical workings of fate, Shamees crossed paths with the heir who was the centre of the country's conflict. He, along with many allies, helped him regain his power and set order to the country again. Shamees was made captain of the guards, the youngest in history, but he soon resigned in less than a year to accomplish new, dangerous tasks entrusted to him.
• In a particular mission, Shamees became guilty of treason for cutting down a prominent person in a crime of passion after learning that she was the cause of the deaths of his wife and unborn child. To spare him from execution, he was "banished." He continued to serve the leader secretly by seeking foreign lands, discovering new herbs, and providing aid if necessary. Accompanying him were some of his most trusted allies.
• After five years of travelling, Shamees and the others arrived at at the continent of Ylisse. They continued to do their work, doing what they can to be of help. They are unaware of a band of troops intending to take action of the situation.
OTHER
- Leader of a convoy group consisting of "merchants." They bring with them foreign goods that they sell and trade in Ylisse. Despite their status as merchants, they appear to be capable warriors. He and his men hail from a theocratic country where tanguels were a more common sight.
- To fill up the gaps in the group, Shamees studied the staff. Though it's also part of a spiritual regeneration process for him.
- The marks on his face are tattoos for him to pass as a half-ling in one undercover mission. He decided to keep it as commemoration of the happenings there. It happened to come in handy when he met his wife, a tanguel...
