Rima I'm assuming she's joining the knights later on. If so, Rima can totally help out with the supplies. Shamees likes people who can work when they work. So even if Rima thinks her task is something menial, Shamees will be there to assure her she's been a great help.
I think it's also worth noting how they both have (had, in Shamees' case) a romantic interest. I think you were the one who accepted his app so ignore me as I repeat some facts xD But Shamees' wife was a tanguel and they had a kid incoming. Both died from an incident though, which was spurred by someone Shamees knew and who he later killed in anger. Once their support is a big higher, they may be able to talk freely about their special someone and the idea of having kids. Shamees feels like he's going to be a horrible parent though, which is ironic since Rima is the perfect parent but can't bear kids.
DorianBeside what I've already mentioned in the recruitment, Shamees is a reliable person for Dorian to turn to. Like, I was thinking he seems to be always helpful when Dorian is in a pinch. During the Ylisse arc, he'll be more like a person helping the Knights in the background. He might give occasional insights. They could have random encounters at nights where they have a brief philosophical chat about the situation in the continent.
For Shamees to truly join the knights would be when he feels like Dorian is really the right person for the job.
In the game, it would be like requiring you to watch certain scenes for Shamees to join later on. He can be one of Dorian's captains if he trusts Shamees enough or/and if there's a shortage of people for such roles in the knights.
So yeah. This is the earliest plot I've had in the site and is still the one I'm most excited about.
CeresiI...debated about giving Ceresi the tanguel support role for Shamees. Shamees is sympathetic with the tanguels for obvious reasons and he
knows what it's like to be consumed by grief. I don't want to hog all the spots with your chars though
this list will be longer then, like a plot with Vaigali but if at some point they do meet, Shamees will try to save her! It's hard to tell how it goes because of their locations right now. But if the knights happens to confront the tanguel rebels (which, as Sakalam's rper, I can assure you will happen, but not rn), Shamees would be very vocal about the situation. I don't know how well he might be able to reach Ceresi, but I know there's a very low chance he would be able to do so. I know that he'll try hard, however.
Dorian +
kamilleI have intentionally made Kamille as old as Dorian and made it so they'll butt heads.
You also approved Kamille so cutting to the chase: Kamille is neutral about Dorian. He thinks Maeve is wasting her time with the knights but he's like w/e none of my business. Whatever he's ordered to do, he'll do it and he always do it for self-interest. Dorian would probably have misgivings about the admiral of Plegia because of his reputation, but some of the knights like
cassius would recognize Kamille as a military genius who rose quickly in is his ranks. Anyway, while Kamille usually acts professional, he'll be extremely harsh if Dorian screws up and shows anyway weakness.
Kamille has a similar role with Shamees: a backup to fall back on. But Kamille has TERRIBLE luck. While he might not screw up, the universe loves screwing up with him (see burning of Plegia's ships.) He's also an asshole. It's going to be in a long while but looking forward to when the two of them would meet. Idealist vs Realist, Selfless vs Selfish.
I guess I should also add that Kamille is actually looking for the Grimleal who assassinated Tremere. Affectionate points will soar to space if Dorian helps him with it.
Dorian and @rikon
YOU APPROVED OF HIS APP TOO GOOD. Now to inform you that
he's going to intend to assassinate Maeve before she heads back to Plegia.
Rikon admires Dorian but he has prejudice against Plegians. He doesn't trust Maeve at all and thinks Dorian's been tricked but after exploding on it a bit, he'll just keep quiet. He'll still respect and look up to Dorian a lot though.
And yeah, Rikon's obviously going to play a pivotal role at some point. I don't think he'll tell Dorian his connection to Talys until he's forced to do so. It's not like he has proof anyway. It would only be his word.
