BIO
• Elyane is the youngest of five children, four of which are male children who are all willing to slit their own throats for Grima. Her parents are dedicated Grimleal, which is where her brother's all got their dedication. The so-called gene seems to have missed Elyane, as she - as she is with most things - simply doesn't care about Grima. Though she is far from foolish, and keeps her thoughts to herself while keeping up the - tiresome - image of being a dedicated Grimleal.
• From a young age Elyane was a lazy one, often found napping rather than helping out her mother around the house. Becoming a cleric - though none too popular in Plegia - seemed like the easiest thing to do, as it didn't require her too move around nor partake in any sort of particularly stressful battle. The only stress she found was the stress of having to deal with injured people constantly, most of which were loud and whiny from their pain. Most days she regrets her choice, though she's far too prideful to admit it.
• As her parents weren't nobles, Elyane was never allowed to attend school, something she rather hated. Despite her laziness, she found herself interested in reading and writing. She went out of her way to teach herself the basics of both subjects, but rarely uses her mediocre skills for anything. Often times if she's forced to do either, she'll pass the task along to someone else if she can.
• If you were to ask Elyane why she joined the Knights, you'd get a different answer depending on the sun's and moon's positioning in the sky, the direction the wind is blowing and how many naps she's taken that day. Meaning, you're likely to never get the truth from her. The truth - though - is that she feared if she spent much longer with only her parents and her brother's as company, she'd become like them - dedicated to Grima, and she knows that that is not something she could ever live with.
OTHER
• Though implied that Elyane isn't particularly fond of expending energy she doesn't need too, she doesn't slack off on her training, ever. It is one of the few things she takes seriously, both physical and mental training. She can spend hours upon hours training with her stave(s), as well as reading and writing to make sure her skills stay fine-tuned.
• Elyane fears Grima and the Grimleal more than anything. She thinks it's possible being raised in a house of dedicated Grimleal while not being one herself spawned the fear, but she is not completely sure. In all honesty, the very name Grima makes her want to run and hide, but she acts as if it doesn't bother her in the slightest. Why? Because even though she is not a Grimleal, the ideals of a Grimleal have been drilled into her mind and body. Weakness is not acceptable, those who serve Grima shall not be weak, and shall not display weakness. It's the one thing she knows she cannot get rid of.
