The capital was unlike what Toto had imagined it to be. He expected more festivity and grandness - certainly, it had more than his humble hometown - but the air was stiffer. Each glance was shot with caution and conversations were kept to a minimum of a hush, as if people were afraid to disturb a sleeping lion. Toto tried sparking a conversation with a shopkeeper but he had been coldly rejected by a glare. Toto had gotten the items he needed from that shop but that kind of transaction left a bitter taste in his tongue. He checked the list on his hand. "Next one is...vulnerary." Toto glanced back at the shop, humming problematically. "Well, they were selling some but I've got other things to buy. The budget isn't going to fit..." He stared at the list, weighing his options. He had no choice but to look around for more shops. Maybe there was a herbal shop here that would sell them for a cheaper price. If only the people here were friendly enough to make a bargain. Toto sighed. Or maybe not. Since it was the capital, prices were naturally higher. Tying the sack of purchased items with the other hefty bags from his earlier purchases, Toto heaved them behind his back, along where his iron axe was, gleaming sharply and dangerously. Toto ignored the looks he was getting and moved on, checking out the signs from shop to shop. He expected to stand out somehow; being uneducated, he assumed it would reflect on how he held himself or something. Toto didn't enjoy having to parade himself like a freak but he wasn't going to complain. This was something only he could do. The Knights of Cydonia were relying on his grocery skills! @broly CODED BY ELECTRIC OF GANGNAM STYLE

"you know i'm bad, i'm bad, i'm really really bad"
MADE BY ★MEULK OF GS | Covered from head to toe with a ragged robe, he cursed under his breath at this darn filth of a place. The Yilissean city of Pyrathi was... To say the least, quite disgusting in his eyes. The people around were just so broken, their spirits down ever since the rulers got their own problems. Playing around didn't even seem possible any longer, save for the clearly oblivious, the children and the guys that decided that they don't care, much like the bandit. But obviously, when your country suffers a crisis, you're not expected to run around, not minding anything; he knew that well, but there was no helping it; grieving about it will bring nothing, in all honesty. As he walked around, looking to his sides to see others scurrying by, giving him poor, pathetic and disdaining looks as they pass by. He hated those, showing respect only to their superiors and not to their equals. Pretty bold, they were, despite saying nothing. Without noticing, the red-headed bandit bumped into someone shorter. He was unfazed by it, simply continuing as if nothing happened. It did however, remove his hood, revealing his blood-red hair. He simply turned at whoever it was with a quick apology, sounding a little inconsiderate however. Surprisingly, as he was about to leave, Broly's shoulder was grabbed by the stranger. It appears that the man was temperamental, and on a regular basis went around throwing his fists at people who annoyed him. The next target, was quite clearly the person he had just bumped into by accident. He spouted some words here and there, making sure the redhead in glasses listened carefully and looked straight at his face. It was pretty obvious where this was going. Nevertheless, Broly tried to avoid it as much as possible; nothing good would come of it.
He couldn't hope to hide his irritation though.
"... Ahn...? What the heavens are you implying...!? If you know what's good for you and you don't wanna get Torn Apart lad, I suggest you si--"
And then it came; a direct punch to his face, knocking his spectacles away from his face, to the ground. It took Broly a second to fully show his unyielding rage in the form of his own fist. A ruckus hurried to follow, the townsfolk watching as two angry punks expressed their emotions through their bodies.
...
It was soon over, a humiliatingly one-sided match. Broly remained standing, a few bruise marks on his uncloaked body, panting heavily and staring down at the other's limp figure, beaten terribly. The crowd circling them whispered to one another, yet the bandit payed no attention to them. He was too occupied attempting to calm himself down.
"Haa... Humph!... That's what you get!..." He spouted, proceeding to pick up his glasses and fixing them over his nose, pulling his cloak to his shoulder and attempting to pass through the masses gathered around. This has been a pretty crappy noon, if he got in a fight already... |

The murmurs spread like a ripple in the pond. Toto could not hear what the people were suddenly talking about but he could see the direction their heads were turned to. Investigating, Toto found a gathering crowd of spectators overseeing a brutal fight. A violent redhead man was pounding a man smaller than him to a pulp. "S-stop!" he said, but his voice went unheard. Over the sound of the violence and deafening tension, his voice did nothing to stop the waves. No one was doing anything. No one was saying anything. What about the guards? Wasn't this the capital of Ylisse? How could they have fights like that out in the open in a supposedly safe and peaceful city? Toto gritted his teeth. He had no business with either man but to allow such fight to happen without a deserving punishment must be a crime. Toto ran after the redhead man, locking onto the hood that he had used to hide his bright, scarlet hair. "You're not getting away!" " - hey!" a man shouted after Toto had elbowed him out of the way. But Toto didn't hear anything. He kept pushing through the crowd, paving a path through force. A disgruntled group of people glared at him from behind but Toto sensed none of that either. He shot a look left and right, and followed after the trail of cloak he caught turning at the corner, running at a speed that was unhindered by the heavy luggage he carried on his back. @broly | whoo, finally I get to use angry eren icons.
