BIO
• Chase belonged to a small wyvern-rearing village, breeding and training wyvern mounts for the Plegian military. It was the village's pride and honour. Chase's parents were experts on the field and mounted wyverns themselves in the front lines. Despite the wyverns being their source of income, they treated them as friends and companions. Chase grew up having only his eyes for dragons. Grima and Naga were no exception. Chase had always wondered why dragons would fight among themselves.
• Chase was a diligent, single-minded boy. Eventually, he learned all about the dragon-shifting manaketes. Though Chase never met a manakete his entire life (at least not that he was aware of), he had a very personal attitude toward their welfare. Chase felt strongly for their kind, believing that they embodied wisdom and majesty and were a symbol of friendship between humans and dragons. He wanted to offer his life to their cause but Chase was already following his parents' footsteps and heading toward the path as a patriotic Plegian soldier. Still, that dream never lost its shine for Chase.
• At the age of 18, Chase served as a wyvern rider in Plegia's military but it wasn't until Maeve's rise to the throne did he have a taste of a true battle. Being stationed near the capital, Chase and his father were caught in a skirmish against the royal guards, who briefly fought the army that was then under the power of the Grimleal. They were overpowered and it wasn't in a few days did Chase learn what happened in the capital. The first princess usurped her own brother, the rightful king. Believing that Maeve's action to be unlawful, Chase and his family sought to follow the Grimleal. But things got even more complicated.
• A few months since Maeve became queen, Grima reawakened. Having always been taught that Grima was Plegia's saviour, the blatant destruction came as a shock to Chase. It made no sense to Chase that he believed Grima was simply not in the right mind due to circumstances he didn't know of. In the chaos of those months, his father lost an arm and Chase's wyvern, Jian Liang, succumbed to fatigue and injuries. Chase swore to soar through the sky as long as his partner lives. And so, Jian Liang's death was the end of Chase's career as a wyvern rider.
• Confused and rattled by the chaos in Plegia, Chase decided to seek the truth. On one hand, he wants to fight for his country. Unite the monarchy and the Grimleal again and put the crown back to the eldest royal child's head. On the other, Chase wants to know what had become of Grima and if Naga had any role to play in these events. Chase felt like something was calling him to seek out answers. Perhaps the elusive manaketes may have one...
OTHER
Chase has an insane training regime and seems to think that dragons are cuddly pets any ten-year-old should be able to keep. When Jian Liang flew off across the sea, Chase swam and followed. Four months later, he came back with a beard and barely any clothes, laughing at how Jian Liang, smashed the side of a cliff by accident and sent giant rocks falling on him...
In addition, despite his grown-man looks, Chase is still a teenager in the head. He may get distracted by big boobs but very quickly to apologize and admitting it. Chase is an innocent butterfly.
