BIO
She was made a liar. Born the Lady Elissabeth of some minor district in Ylisse, Lis spent her early days in stuffy dresses and lace up corsets, her parents breathing down her throat about how important she supposedly was. Her father never had the time for day and her mother seemed intent on molding her into the image of a perfect princess, ready to be married off to some man she barely knew. It was a lonely childhood with many nursemaids and few friends. Any question she had about why her parents did what they did, or why she had to be who she wanted to be was met with a sharp scolding from whoever happened to be watching her at the time.
Lashing out did nothing and her attempts to speak her mind were met with deaf ears. It soon became clear that they only cared about who they wanted her to be rather than who she really was. She laughed too loud, played too much, and spent too much time in the kitchens with people too low for her. Yet it was when she was laughing with the maids and telling tales they taught her how to weave that she truly felt at home.
The way her mum and dad yelled at the servants seemed hardly befitting for royalty. Where was their chivalry and their manners like in the minstrels' tales? Did they not see that she was happier singing songs around a table than at a fancy meal? They hated that she was brash, they hated that she had spirit, but she desired to be everything they wished her not to be. She made friends with a girl named Tessa, the daughter of a maid and a butler in the castle. They read books and Lis would sneak them both out of the castle when she knew they could get by. A few bullions to the guards and a well-placed smile: the two of them would be free to go.
Otherwise she was the perfect picture of obedience to her parents, their hopeful future princess. Her secrets were safe with her servants, after all. It was easy to make friends when you were the only member of nobility that treated them like humans. She learned to be their hero, the person who snuck them food from the banquets late at night. In turn they taught her how to pick locks and make bread. Lis never spoke it out loud, but they all knew she was plotting her eventual escape.
It was all a matter of patience and a matter of timing. Neither of which were her forte, but she had at least Tessa to make sure she didn't go insane. And in the meantime, she kept pretending. The less her parents suspected, the easier it would be for her to disappear one day, be free and explore the lands like the heroes always did in Tessa's storybooks. She hated wishing, she hated waiting. The days were long and the nights were longer.
A little part of her felt terribly guilty for it, but she almost cried with happiness when bandits ransacked her part of Ylisse and attacked the castle. She managed to rush to Tessa's room in the midst of the commotion, asking her to join her. She didn't want to leave alone. To her joy and surprise, Tessa agreed without hesitation. For the first time, Lis cast away her robes and her royal mask completely, clasping Tessa's hands in joy before the two girls fled into the night.

OTHER
- She's full of poop jokes and innuendo. Absolute trash 0/10 would not recommend.
- She will flirt with anyone oops. If it gets her what she wants, the better.
- She's not above acting the part of someone completely different if she thinks it's what the other person wants to see. She spent years and years pretending at the castle, after all.
- Despite what she thinks and how she acts, she's still a lady. There are many respects in which she is still rather sheltered and naive.
