Staring at the hole with curiosity, she wondered if Pepe was an animal of some sort since he lived in this hole and the fact that some animal could've dug up a home for itself. It seemed that Gairovald still didn't trust the large man which made her doubt that she had trusted Pepe so easily. Was it really the effect of being sheltered from the outside world which lead her to trust a mere stranger? Her parents might worry that she might get kidnapped and by now, it was a scary thought. She hadn't been to Ferox before, but she figured that the countryside might be worth visiting. Besides, she did at least knew that Pepe was a nice man even if the large man looked suspicious to her protector.

Possibly, her timid demeanor might have something to do with her being very trusting of strangers, even ones that didn't look a bit suspicious to the trained mind. "I don't know what Pepe's planning, but I'm scared…" It probably didn't help that Pepe was a rather intimidating man too.

After a while he proceeded to pop his head out of the hole, staring between the two for a while with a grunt. "Ach, can't a man just live innae his hol' withoot peopl' goin' yappin' about yer bein' a blasted taguel or bein' declared scary or summae. Blech. Foreigner's never bein' nice, A' say. Insultin', even." He grumbled a bit as he popped his head back down inside the hole as he got to work.

If the two DID come inside, they would notice it was rather homely. For someone who was living in a cave, that is. Sure, there were a lot of half eaten fruits and vegetables and slabs of meat all around, but... It had a bed! Rarely used though it seems. But hey, there was a hole! Seemingly full of sacks. But hey, there was a chair! Almost broken. Uh... There was the slightly cool wind?
