[attr="class","infobig"]THE RULES
[attr="class","infosmall"]the laws of our beautiful land
[attr="class","info"]These are all of the rules that govern the site. Break them once and we will warn you. Break them twice and we will ban you for a week. Break them three times and we will give you a permanent ban. So don't disregard these.
[attr="class","infobig"]GENERAL
[attr="class","infosmall"]ONE.
We like drama just as much as the next roleplayer, but please, don't cause it in the cbox or out of character. Keep it to private messaging and instant messages.[attr="class","infosmall"]TWO.
Respect is a big thing. Show respect to the staff, they put in a lot of time to make the site run for you to enjoy, and being rude to them is uncalled for. If you respect others, they will respect you back.[attr="class","infosmall"]THREE.
Do not bother staff to do staff things. They will get to it when they get to it. If things have gone more than three days without being looked at, in that case you are welcome to PM someone, but don't be a jerk about it. We have lives too.[attr="class","infosmall"]FOUR.
Do not ask to become staff. The admin and creator, Kuroya, will hire staff as she sees fit, and annoying her about it will only make her less likely to hire you.[attr="class","infosmall"]FIVE.
Do not come onto the site to cause trouble or to advertise. We have a guest-friendly board for advertising sites, so please don't spam the cbox or PMs with advertisements.[attr="class","infobig"]POSTING
[attr="class","infosmall"]ONE.
Do not god-mode or powerplay please. People can get powerful, yes, but they are not invincible. Dodging every hit and/or forcing someone to take every hit is not acceptable.[attr="class","infosmall"]TWO.
Please keep in mind that you are only allowed to participate in one quest thread regardless of how many characters you have in order to try to keep from overworking the staff.[attr="class","infosmall"]THREE.
You are permitted to swear provided you don't use expletives every other sentence (or something to the like) since that's just distasteful. If it goes against ProBoards ToS, we don't want to see it in a post or in the C-Box. This also includes racial and sexual slurs.[attr="class","infosmall"]FOUR.
We ask that you kindly adhere to a minimum word count of 150. That's not a whole lot to ask. Just 150 words for an in-character post. This isn't to be mean, it's to make sure that the other person will have enough to respond to.[attr="class","infosmall"]FIVE.
Post templates are welcomed for use here, and even encouraged since then the text won't become unreadable if the skin changes. We merely ask that you don't stretch the boards with an image or a layout too much wider than 500 pixels. Also, your post templates MUST BE LEGIBLE. Crazy tiny fonts, cursive fonts, and tiny post template widths are some examples of what makes a template impossible to read. If you get asked to take it down, do so. If you don't take it down, a staff member will do it for you in any way they see fit.[attr="class","infobig"]CHARACTERS
[attr="class","infosmall"]ONE.
We are LGBT-friendly! Homosexuality is allowed on the site. Guys can be romantically attracted to other guys, and girls can be romantically attracted to other girls. Nobles will naturally be more pressured to be straight in order to produce heirs, but you may make a homosexual or bisexual noble if you so choose.[attr="class","infosmall"]TWO.
Illegitimate children are also allowed, and while they are more accepted than they would be ordinarily, it is still very hard for them to obtain positions of power, so please keep this in mind when creating characters.[attr="class","infosmall"]THREE.
Since canon characters are all deceased, there is no need to make one. We have some site canons, of course, and yes, some of the options for characters include slight relations to the canons, but the more distant and obscure the relation, the better.[attr="class","infosmall"]FOUR.
Each character is his or her own account. This is to help the staff keep everything straight. Since Proboards global accounts link everything automatically, there's really no excuse for anyone to not be able to abide by this.[attr="class","infosmall"]FIVE.
Killing off another person's character is not allowed. You must get permission first, and forcing the roleplayer into a situation that would be nigh impossible to survive is not allowed, not to mention a rude thing to do.[attr="class","infosmall"]SIX.
Face-Claims must be from a series, and must be in an animanga style. The only exception to this is originally drawn content, and ONLY when there is provided proof that the person who is using the original art drew the original art with their own hands.[attr="class","infobig"]MISCELLANEOUS
[attr="class","infosmall"]ONE.
If you choose to leave the site but then return, you can reclaim all of your old characters. However, if you had a character in a position of power that has since been filled, you will not get that position back. Sorry![attr="class","infosmall"]TWO.
Staff are not always right, and pointing something out to them when they're wrong is almost always a good thing. We're all human and we all make mistakes. Just don't bring it up in a rude manner please, and remember, we don't get paid for this. Handle it through a private message or an instant message.[attr="class","infosmall"]THREE.
Avatars should be 100x100 pixels, large images 200x300 for the hover, and signatures should be 500x300 pixels maximum. This is so that things will size correctly in your window.[attr="class","infosmall"]FOUR.
Characters on the site belong to their respective roleplayer. As such, if the staff figures out that someone has stolen material, the stolen material will be locked and archived and the member subject to disciplinary action. Steal anything from the site and you will be fed to Grima.[attr="class","infosmall"]FIVE.
