• Gilly's parents were both Grimleal; her father a high-ranking dark mage and her mother an archer. When she was a year old her mother succumbed to illness and passed away, leaving Gilly in the care of her father.
• Her father raised her very carefully. He was incredibly overprotective, and because of this Gilly's experience with the world is limited. He also raised her with the Grimleal faith and ideals.
• Though her father tried to keep her away from such things, Gilly eventually discovered his tomes and, reluctantly, he began to teach her how to use them. She had no natural talent for magic, and still is not very good at spells.
• When the civil war started, Gilly vehemently supported the Grimleal, though only vocally; her father kept her as far away as he could from the bloodier side of the civil war.
• Eventually, her father came down with the same illness that had taken her mother. Determined to save him, and with her father too sick to stop her, Gilly set out to search the country for a cure.
OTHER
• Though she reveres Grima, Gilly isn't entirely aware of what his resurrection would mean for mankind.
• Her primary goal is to save her father, but Gilly also travels as a sort of missionary, looking to spread Grima's influence across the country.
• She's asexual aromantic and wouldn't recognize flirting if it hit her in the face with a brick.
• Extremely tall for her age; Gilly stands at 6'01" in height.
