BIO
• Tulio's mother was a beautiful woman, dark, flowing hair; silky smooth, tanned skin; and emerald eyes like an enchanted forest, that bore roots into the hearts of men. She was a simple maid for the nobles of an independant island nation, not far off the coast of Ylisse.
• One day, roughly two decades ago, an Ylissean ambassador of noble blood traveled the seas, seeking to exchange vassalage for protection and trade. Ylisse was looking to secure the island's naval support as additional resistance to landing attempts from Plegia. Tulio's mother met this noble while cleaning the guest quarters, and found it difficult to refuse the foreign noble's alluring advances. She found herself with child within the year.
• Of course, as years passed, Tulio grew; both physically, and culturally. He felt strangely different from his friends and family on the island. He wanted to know about the nation that so befriend his people; but most importantly, he wanted to know his father. He simply had to know.
• Bravely, he told his lord of his intentions to leave the island, in search of his Ylissean father. His lord smiled, and applauded his adventurous nature. He admired Tulio's spirit, but warned him that the mainland was a dangerous place, plagued by war and greed. Bandits and thieves had a place to run, much unlike his comparatively small island home. His Lord insisted he could not let his servant simply leave the island unprepared to defend himself, as it would stain his image, as well as cost Tulio his life. Out of sheer generosity and compassion, his Lord offered to pay the tuition for the very same fencing school that he attended. Only once he had graduated, could he leave for Ylisse. Tulio accepted.
• Only a year ago, Tulio had graduated from the sword school. He was slow to start, as swordplay was almost entirely foreign to him, but his sheer determination to learn his roots drove him to success. Thankfully, his lord kept his word, and permit him to leave with the next trade cog that set sail for Ylisse. Tulio packed his bag, bringing far beyond what others might consider 'the bare essentials' with him. He was greatly pleased, and completely ready to start the new life that awaited him.
• Unfortunately, his eager and impetuous behavior was ultimately his own worst enemy. It wasn't until the boat had departed that Tulio discovered he had boarded the wrong boat! The boat he had boarded was headed in a completely different direction, sails set for the ports of Ferox. This was to be the most shameful few months of his life.
• Now, Tulio finds himself at least temporarily stranded. He's left in a town with a climate, a culture, and even and allegiance that's the polar opposite of what he finds familiar. Tulio finds his quest to find Ylisse in a strange situation, now that he's landed somewhere that finds it difficult to trust the very people he seeks.
