• Zerachiel was born to Grimleal worshiping parents, deep in the confines of Plegia. Or rather, to a Grimleal worshiping mother, his father having been a Ylissean captive that was given to his mother for exemplary work (or that's what she said). They lived alone, very much near the deserts of Plegia.
• His mother was very unstable of mind and thought. She was keeping his father prisoner and teaching him everything he needed to know about Grima and the Grimleal, and often brought him with her to the temples she could get to. However, his father was teaching him about Naga the Divine Dragon, and of her goodness opposite to Grima's. At least, when his mother wasn't around. So the boy was raised with two clashing ideologies.
• When he turned twenty, his mother died in an unfortunate accident, and left both him and his father alone. That was when Zerachiel finally was able to release his father from confinement, and he brought the pair to Ylisse, back to his own country and to his wife and kids that he had before his capture. He didn't want to leave Zerachiel behind, since he seemed to be attached to his father.
• As his mother often treated Zerachiel still like a child, it seemed he had a very reticent and child-like view of the world. So when him and his father went back to his wife, they found out that she had thought him dead, and remarried. Apologizing for bothering her, his father inquired about their children, whom were more then happy to see him and take in him and their half-brother in.
• Of course, rumours followed the returned pair, often of how Zerachiel's ancestry was befouling. However, the boy never seemed bothered, and instead applied himself to learning things from his half-siblings. They found that he had quite a talent for magic of all sorts, and was fleet footed and quiet. Although he was so, he still wasn't good enough with as word to be classified as a Myrmidon.
• When he reached the age of twenty-five, the male began wandering the continent, having decided that the clergy was his main role in life. He would spread the good word of Naga to all of those that would listen, even going to the heart of Plegia on several occasions. It was miraculous that he came back unscathed from these ventures.
• At around thirty years, he formed a small community, named 'The Pasture' for those that he managed to convert. He primarily focused on those that society deemed unwanted, such as violent drunks or despicable persons, and took them in, giving them a home, and a purpose, out of the kindness of his heart. He taught them the ways of Naga as well.
• Over time, some people have gathered to form an 'Inner Circle' and they too, travel around to bring new people to the Pasture, in order to save those that were rejected like they once were. However, it was taking quite a time, with several leaving when they felt content to, as there was no restraint on leaving after a certain time period.
• When his father died, Zerachiel went back to his half-brother's house to mourn his passing, and met his step-mother and step-father for the first time. His step-father was a prejudiced one, however his step mother admired how good the boy had turned out, despite having Plegian blood. The two got to talking on occasion, she never mentioning his weird tendencies and him keeping quiet about the bruises she kept mysteriously getting.
• His step-mother died in an accident about a year after his father's death, and Zerachiel went once more to grieve. However, his step-father had decided to pick a fight, and the male let himself get beat up, leading to the arrest of the man on charges of murder and assault. He was turned into Zerachiel's custody and brought to the Pasture not long after.
• Due to a very healthy balance, he still looks amazing at his age. He does still go out and travel, but spends a lot of time at the Pasture, making sure those that come to him are healed and ready for life beyond it's walls. Although some never want to leave.
OTHER
When he's at the pasture, he looks much younger because he cuts his hair and has no beard, but doesn't take care of that on the road so he gets shaggy and beardy and looks order and he's got the best genes out of his family to look so good still yeah.
People in the Pasture love it there, even though he's strict and often keeps tabs on everything, but they understand that's for the good of their recovery although some just feel stuffed by how tightly he lids stuff. He's a good guy though most admit that.
May or may not be actually working for the Grimleal as a sneaky butt, but nobody would know this if it does happen.
