@name | @name | It was a day like any other, but there had been a low stock of herbs. Normally, her father would have gone out to gather wild herbs, but he thought it would have been better for Nora to do it herself. After all, if she wished to venture out on her own, she needed to at least be able to do these things. Of course this hadn’t been her first time but it was not going to be the last. And that’s how she ended up on the search for plants, with a sack slung over her shoulder. As always, the climate was cold, yet it didn’t seem to bother the ginger haired girl much. She had grown used to how the weather in the area fared and was actually quite fond of the coldness. Course, she did have her limits. Her hand rose up, to let the snow that fell from the clouds to land a few speckles onto her palm, before it simply melted away into water. The scenery around her had partially been filled up with snow, whilst there were some clear areas. Most of the trees still bore their leaves as other hadn’t. Course, this was a troublesome time indeed as it was quite vital that she’d find the right amount of herbs today before the snow filled the whole area. Her eyes observed around her, using her senses and keen instinct to try and spot plants. She used whatever knowledge she had, looking for prints left by animals as they usually would flock to areas with a lot of greenery, or attempt to spot signs of herbs in the distance. But with a couple of minutes, her search had achieved naught. A cupped hand was placed under her chin, as she’d space into thought for a moment clearly looking distressed. ’This is problematic. Forget the fact that father would be mad, if I don’t find any soon when the snow settles it in would be even more difficult to find more later.’ She glanced up towards the sky that seemed to be darkening slightly. ’And if night settles in, beasts will start to lurk around, making searching even impossible to do without attracting attention from a unwanted predator.’ There was a chance that she could of easily fend for herself, but given the lack of sight during the night along with factors of them being in a pack, she was a bit too paranoid to take the risk. She snapped herself out of thought, as she hastened her search, attempting to give this her full attention and search around the area in places that she hadn’t looked yet. Nora was quite sure that there would be some around here, she just had to be more diligent about the matter. "Talking" | 'Thinking' | flashback |
