The rush of adrenaline and the burning fire in her lungs with each breath was her own fault, that much she knew. But yet this sort of life was the life of excitement that she chose. She found herself throwing herself from building to building in the Ylissean capital, the only drag on the wind being the red wide-brimmed feathered cap on her head and the maroon cloak on her back. She had a grin on her face and a spring in her step as she found footholds to propel herself back down to the streets. She'd lose them there.
"STOP THAT THIEF!" came the cries of the authorities, and Alisone dashed through more streets, being careful to not bowl over some poor bystander in her chase. She felt the eyes follow her as she passed by, heard the whispers like scattered wisps of wind. The thought excited her even more, but she also knew that with a whisper came eyewitness accounts. She'd have to get into one of the alleyways to lose the authorities.
She was approaching a certain part of the alleyway that she knew well and she made a detour towards what looked to be a composter of some sort. She ducked down as quickly as she could to slip her package in between the composter and the stone wall of what she assumed was a upper-class shop, and she kept on running towards one of the other streets off the merchants street.
That was when her plan went to the dogs, when the flashy thief collided with another body.

[attr="class","maintxt-k"]The difference between Ylisse and Plegia never cease to stun Elyane in some way. Though she's somewhat aware both countries each have their own problems, she thinks that Ylisse's problems - though still important and large - aren't the same compared to the problems in Plegia. Though the problems of the Ylisseans aren't any of Elyane's business, she's here for - well - no reason at all, but no one else needs to know that. A yawn escapes Elayne's lips as she brushes her thoughts of the problem ridden countries aside. She glances up towards the sun and figures it's about time for a nap. Though, she wonders if she'll even find a nice place to rest around here. Her eyes glance around lazily as she walks, looking for a nice, shady place to rest. That's when another body collides with her own and she stumbles several steps from the force. She manages re-balance herself and glances towards the person who - seemingly - seemed to fly out of no where with a frown on her face. "If you're in a rush, it'd be nice if you could avoid other people's bodies," she says. ElyaneThe force of the impact bounced her into a wall, where Alisone let out a very ladylike grunt. It was a bit odd, considering the androgynous figure and the interaction that soon was to follow. She used the impact to push herself away from the wall as if she had ricocheted horribly, and she used the movement to grab her hat and fling it off her head.
Off came the hat and with it, a short and boyish hairstyle emerged, along with a black eyemask to cover her face, held in place by pins behind her ears and into her hair. She did a bowing motion with the large and fabulous hat held over her heart, her cloak unfurling to reveal a sword hilt attached to a belt by her left leg. Her leggings and the curve of her legs screamed 'woman', but other than that, she had not a curve to be seen under her tunic. She gazed up at Elyane and the frown on her face turned quickly to a cheeky grin.
"So sorry, m'lady. A woman of such beauty doesn't need to be tangled in the affairs of roughhousing." She said in a raspy and slightly deeper voice.
Shouts came from down the alleyway, and the echoes of "THE THIEF WENT THIS WAY!" were heard as an echo. Her red orbs trailed to the side and she sighed, shaking her head.
"Well blast me. Hold my hat, would you? Thank you dear." She said quickly, as she went to place the hat in Elyane's arms. Even if Elyane didn't take the hat, the hat would flutter to Elyane's feet, and with it the mysterious assailant would be gone around one of the vendors, having gone right down the street. And with the thunder of guard footsteps approaching Elyane's position, and the perpetrator's hat resting at her feet or in her arms, it seemed like a very precarious situation for anyone to stumble upon.

[attr="class","maintxt-k"]The extravagant bowing motion the person in front of her pulls leaves Elyane rather confused, but her face remains rather passive at the action. For a moment, Elyane is dragged into the performance and finds herself rather intrigued by who this masked person is. She also finds herself questioning this person, surely she doesn't look like a m'lady. A title she finds herself uncomfortable with - she supposes she's always been fine with being a lowborn and being address as so - as well as being addressed as a "woman of beauty". Elyane wonders if all Ylisseans are like this, but then at the sound of someone yelling, "THE THIEF WENT THIS WAY." She guesses this is an act of sorts and she's just gotten involved in some sort of crime, fun. Before Elyane gets a word out, the person in front of her places their rather nice hat in her arms before darting off. She opens her mouth to ask what's going on, but instead she has soliders running up to her. "You, miscreant, you are under arrest for theft," one of the soliders says. Elayne's eyes narrow at the solider before glancing down at the hat and then back up again at the solider, "And why am I under arrest? I've only just gotten here.""The hat in your possession is the exact same as the one seen on the head of a thief running through Pyrathi," he says. "I suppose, then, if I were to say that this hat was forced onto me by the true thief, you would presume I'm lying? Though I would have to say, it would look quite bad on Ylisse if they put a Plegian nobleman's daughter in jail for a crime she hasn't committed, would it not," Elyane bluffs, she's far from a nobleman's daughter. Though she hopes these soliders believe her lie. "Though, if you're willing to arrest me, I guess you are more than willing to pay the price of doing so, after all my father is rather known to be ruthless when it comes to men who lay hands on his daughter."The soliders glance at each other for a while, before the main one speaks up. "Very well then, m'lady. Can you point us in the direction of the true culprit then? If you are - as you say you are - not the actual culprit?" Elyane points in the opposite direction the person from earlier disappeared off too and the soliders give her one last look over, before taking off. One of them lingers behind and says to her, "If we find out you are lying, we will find you and we will arrest you."As the last solider disappears, Elayne exhales in relief. She's lucky the soliders were rather dumb, if she'd been given real soliders - smart ones - she knows her bluff would've failed and she would've pressed for more details of her family, details she knows she wouldn't have been able to think up on the spot. She turns the hat in her hands as she glances around. Now where did the real owner of this hat go? [attr="class","maincon-k"] Alisone, idk what im doing now [newclass=".maintxt-k"]width:300px;background:#efefef;text-align:justify; padding: 20px; font: 11px verdana; line-height: 13px; color: #000; border: 5px solid #E35276;[/newclass] [newclass=".maintxt-k .maincon-k"]text-align: center; width: 100px; padding: 10px; border: 5px solid #E35276; background: #efefef; margin: -150px auto 0px; position: relative; z-index: 3; opacity: 0; -moz-opacity: 0; -webkit-opacity: 0; -webkit-transition: all 0.5s ease-in-out; -moz-transition: all 0.5s ease-in-out; -ms-transition: all 0.5s ease-in-out; -o-transition: all 0.5s ease-in-out; transition: all 0.5s ease-in-out;[/newclass] [newclass=".maintxt-k:hover .maincon-k"]opacity: 1; -moz-opacity: 1; -webkit-opacity: 1; -webkit-transition: all 0.5s ease-in-out; -moz-transition: all 0.5s ease-in-out; -ms-transition: all 0.5s ease-in-out; -o-transition: all 0.5s ease-in-out; transition: all 0.5s ease-in-out;[/newclass][newclass=".maincon-k a"]text-transform: uppercase; font: 15px roboto;[/newclass] [googlefont="Roboto:300"]

Elyane"Oh, you're good."
The vision that had approached from behind Elyane was not one that was the same as earlier. It was still the same face as the woman who had bumped into Elyane, wearing the same tunic, but now the mask was gone, showing a face with a pointed nose and slightly masculine features. Also, the hair was far longer, coming down in messy tresses freely down her back. The cloak was gone, but the sword remained at her hip, ready and able. The same rasp in her voice was still there, but that was to be expected; that was her voice.
"You can bluff as well as the rest of them, where did you learn that? Granted, they were halfwits, but none the less." She walked out in front of Elyane and bowed. "I am indebted to you, m'lady. You didn't have to save my neck- I did far less for you after all. Throwing you to the hounds. I expected you to hide, or perhaps to get arrested, but it wouldn't be the first time I've broken in and out of the city dungeons, I promise." She winked cheekily. "I wouldn't have left you."
She straightened up and placed her hands behind her back, beaming expectantly.

[attr="class","maintxt-k"]Elyane turns towards the source of the compliment and finds herself mildly surprised. The mask has disappeared and the hair has grown longer, but she still recognises them, tunic and all. The certain rasp in their voice also makes it easier for Elyane to identify them as the person that - almost - got her arrested just a few moments ago. "Jail is the last place I wanna be, escape plan or not," she answers. "Saving you just happen in the process."Elyane spins the hat in her hands once again before focusing her attention on the person in front of her. Her eyes narrow slightly, similar to how they did when she was speaking with the soliders. "What did you take in the first place," she asks, glancing around. "Nothing too large I hope."Everyone around her is bustling, but Elyane doesn't know who could be listening and who isn't. She's just escaped being arrested once, but she doesn't want to count on her luck to get out of it again. In fact, she hardly believes her luck will get her out of it again. ElyaneAlisone stayed very quiet for a moment, as if she was listening, but thinking at the same time. Either way, it could very easily be interpreted as her being cautious for guards. She tilted her head and then finally after a moment, she rested easily. She grinned.
"Nothing big in size, I can promise that. I won't tell you what, just in case those guards come back and find you. I wouldn't want your head to be at risk anymore than it is." Her eyes trailed the spinning hat and she held out her hand for it.
"Which reminds me. That's an obvious signature that points you to me. May I have that back?" She asked sweetly. "It's a pretty hat, but definitely one that grabs the attention."
She heard some more shouting, however it was further off. None the less, it was enough to make Alisone's smile crack a bit. She stared at Elyane with a bit more focus.
"And preferably quickly, before those guards round back, hmm?"

[attr="class","maintxt-k"]Elyane supposes that not telling her specifically what has been taken makes sense, but she still feels the need to know what was stolen. Though, she supposes her curiosity to know what was stolen isn't too strong. She drops the idea of asking more questions and just goes along with the answer of "nothing big in size." Elyane figures at least she knows that it - probably - wasn't something large enough to be noticed if hidden somewhere. Elyane glances at the hat in her hands when the thief - whose name she has still not asked for - asks for it back. She debates the idea of returning it but decides again it, she instead puts it on her own head. She notes the shouting that seems to be far off, but doesn't give it much mind and focuses her attention on the formerly-masked thief in front of her. "I suppose the right thing to do would be to return it, but if a solider were to come back and notice it was gone I could be written off as an accomplice, and I don't want that so I think I'll be keeping your little hat," she says as her lips pull into a smile. "I hope you don't mind too much."[newclass=".maintxt-k"]width:300px;background:#efefef;text-align:justify; padding: 20px; font: 11px verdana; line-height: 13px; color: #000; border: 5px solid #E35276;[/newclass] [newclass=".maintxt-k .maincon-k"]text-align: center; width: 100px; padding: 10px; border: 5px solid #E35276; background: #efefef; margin: -150px auto 0px; position: relative; z-index: 3; opacity: 0; -moz-opacity: 0; -webkit-opacity: 0; -webkit-transition: all 0.5s ease-in-out; -moz-transition: all 0.5s ease-in-out; -ms-transition: all 0.5s ease-in-out; -o-transition: all 0.5s ease-in-out; transition: all 0.5s ease-in-out;[/newclass] [newclass=".maintxt-k:hover .maincon-k"]opacity: 1; -moz-opacity: 1; -webkit-opacity: 1; -webkit-transition: all 0.5s ease-in-out; -moz-transition: all 0.5s ease-in-out; -ms-transition: all 0.5s ease-in-out; -o-transition: all 0.5s ease-in-out; transition: all 0.5s ease-in-out;[/newclass][newclass=".maincon-k a"]text-transform: uppercase; font: 15px roboto;[/newclass] [googlefont="Roboto:300"]

ElyaneShe could've gotten angry. Really angry. But instead she decided to bite down on her irritation and laugh shortly, her mouth slightly open with indignation. Damn it. That didn't even make sense. The lady just wanted an upper edge on her. She listened to the voices of the guards and looked the lady up and down.
She had to admit though. The lady in front of her looked really cute in that hat.
It might have softened her a little bit to have that knowledge, because she shook her head. "Yeah, and if they catch you again and figure out that you've been lying to them anyway, what does it matter? I heard what they said, they're going to think you're my accomplice anyway." She chuckled nervously.
"C-Can I just have my hat back?" She asked persistently with her hand extended.

[attr="class","maintxt-k"]For a moment, Elyane thinks about what the person in front of her has said. She supposes it's true. After all, she did direct the soldiers in the incorrect direction in the first place. So, she'll be an accomplice either way and her resolve to keep the rather large, fancy hate dissolves into nothing. She could fight to have it for longer, but she knows how much energy that will take, and she knows it'll be too much. Not to mention there is hardly anything in it for her, at least as far as she can think of at the moment. She takes the hat off, and extends her hand to give it back to it's owner, but then pulls her hand back. An idea has passed through her mind, "Tell me your name and I'll give you your hat back." Knowing thief will come in handy, she supposes. Though if the other does turn her down, she figures she'll hand the hat over anyway. The hat is really of no use to her, she figures, any time after this. It's not particularly her style either, pity. ElyaneNow came the moment of truth. Was the hat worth her name? A very pregnant pause proceeded the question, with Alisone's face contorting into different shapes. Would she reveal it? Wouldn't she? She lightly gnashed her feeth. How else was she going to get the hat back from the woman? This was a very bad problem, most certainly worse than six guards pursuing her. She wanted that hat. It was her trademark.
For the love of the Gods, it hid the pins she needed for her mask.
It was her signature!
She had to have that hat!
She bowed her head and held out her hand rigidly, her entire stance conceding defeat.
"Alisone. My name is Alisone." She said meekly.
She was defeated. She was defeated by some common lady.
