[attr="class","info"]Classes define who a person is on the battlefield. For a complete list of weapons that a class can wield, as well as what they can class into, please see this link.

There are three different types of classes: base classes, master classes, and special classes. Base classes can transform into specified master classes. Master classes then be reclassed down again into any base class that the character is able to reach. Special classes are classes that can only be obtained at a penalty and under certain situations - you cannot reclass into them unless you started in them. Please do note, however, that classes are no longer gender locked, so males can be troubadours or pegasus knights while females can be barbarians.[attr="class","infobig"]STARTING CLASSES
Every character can pick four base classes when they start, one of which they will begin on. Alternatively, they can select one special class to start on along with two normal base classes to class into. They will be locked onto these class trees unless they are remade entirely, at which point they will lose all weapons that have become attached to them.[attr="class","infobig"]RECLASSING
To change your class, you must do so in the Reclassing thread and meet the requirements for the class you wish to convert to. In order to go from a base to a master, you must use a master seal. In order to reclass from a master, you must reclass to a base and use a second seal to do so. For either situation, you must have completed at least one thread in your current class.[attr="class","infobig"]ADDITIONAL CLASSES
For a fee, if you do not like the classes you have selected, you can purchase a class expansion from the main shop, which will grant you one additional class to a character. You can only purchase one per character, however, and the changes are permanent, and they are account-bound, so choose wisely![attr="class","infobig"]BASE CLASSES
The complete list of base classes is as follows: cavalier, knight, myrmidon, thief, barbarian, fighter, mercenary, archer, pegasus knight, wyvern rider, dark mage, mage, priest/cleric, and troubadour. For a complete list of what they class into and wield, please see the link above.[attr="class","infobig"]MASTER CLASSES
The complete list of master classes is as follows: paladin, great knight, general, swordsmaster, assassin, trickster, berserker, warrior, hero, bow knight, sniper, falcon knight, dark flier, wyvern lord, griffon rider, sorcerer, dark knight, sage, war monk/cleric, and valkyrie. For a complete list of what they class from and wield, please see the link above.[attr="class","infobig"]SPECIAL CLASSES
The six special classes are Lord, Tactician, Taguel, Manakete, Grandmaster, and Great Lord. Grandmaster and Great Lord are the master ranks for the base classes Tactician and Lord respectively and thus cannot be selected for a starting class. Lords can now be anyone who has a drop of exalt blood in their veins - meaning much of the nobility - while Tacticians can be anyone with a drop of Fell blood in their veins, making them prime candidate to be targeted by Grima. Not everyone with these tendencies will be those classes, but everyone in those classes will display those tendencies. The taguel and manaketes are races of people who can transform into large beasts or dragons, respectively, and usually bear some physical manifestation of their other forms while human. Taguel are most common in Ferox, where they have found refuge in the isolation of the tundra, while manaketes have thrived in the deserts of Plegia.[newclass=.infobig]font-family: garamond; font-size: 20px; letter-spacing: 8px; text-transform: lowercase;[/newclass][newclass=.infosmall]margin-top: -5px; font-family: arial; letter-spacing: -1px; font-size: 12px; text-transform: uppercase;[/newclass][newclass=.info]margin-top: -5px; color: #ddd; width: 400px; background-color: #343434; border: #282828 10px solid; padding: 10px; text-align: justify;[/newclass]
